Isn't the whole purpose of this persona existing to feel superior to everyone, invincible and hyped up, as the manic high? @@MorePara8 To be honest, I'm not sure. Christian has said that Mito believes Mr. Insanity created the whole universe and he despises him for that. And Insanity here looks like a clown enough to assume he might be the God of the universe. Now it looks like Mr. Insanity is afraid of his own creation as Mito grew stronger and became the guardian of Ian's memories, holding the universe balanced from Insanity.

I saw a fan theory that MITO tries to stop Mr. Insanity from doing something "stupid" basically. Something that might end up hurting Ian and those around him and might regret later. Since Mr. Insanity doesn't really care and does as he does without caring about the consequences.

@@valerie.0613 That makes sense, especially that he represents a manic high. But that also goes against Mito craving power and destruction of everything Insanity created. If he wants to destroy all of his creations, why would he be protective of Ian? Especially after kidnapping him and stabbing. Huh, all of this is a lot of fun to try to untangle and understand 😃
