I love both of those two. Bladie can just exist as +1 in any team and still deliver or be an amazing hypecarry. Meanwhile Kafka is fully capable of being a Hypercarry on top of being an insane dot enabler. It is really down to what you want from the game.

One thing I like about Blade is even if his LC options are limited, you can't go wrong with some F2P lightcone options and place him as a hypercarry or sub. I currently use him in a team with Seele,Bronya, and Luocha/Huohuo and they work well in MoC.

great video, as always! love the explanations for the individual actions. i got Kafka on her introduction in 1.2, but skipped Blade... your other video convinced me to pull for Blade (to use with Jingliu and Bronya), but what a shocker - with my 95 tickets i managed to pull Blade, Ruan Mei, and E6 Xueyi! yes, i'm over the top... now it'll take like a month of grinding to get all materials to fully build them :D i've prefarmed most of stuff for Blade and Xueyi, but don't even have books and ether for Ruan Mei :(

Obligatory Merry Christmas. Tbh, using Kafka on a dps showdown is difficult, since she’s not made to be a hypercarry, and is more like an enabler for DoT. In that case, would Sampo and Guinaifen count as support or sub-dps? Because you could view it as “buffing” Kafka’s skill or as dealing out personal damage. Anyway, long rant aside, hope you enjoy your vacation!

Blade's damage is mid without his LC and the only other good option for him is Arlan's but even at S5 the gap between it and his signature is still noticeable, don't get blade without his LC. Kafka on the other hand has a few good options including the GNSW cone which at S5 is almost as good as her signature LC, with black swan coming too i think Kafka should be the safest option for most people.

Def? Blade does NOT scale on Def, so that stat is USELESS for his damage output. So the answer to your question, HP is the better and much more useful stat.

Do NOT give Blade DEF, he doesn't benefit from it at all. And from what I know, he gets around 12% crit rate from Traces. So it's usually crit damage body. Just look at what Artumbo's Blade has and try to get something similar if possible.

I would say Speed shoes. Go HP boots only if you don't have Speed ones. I run my Blade with Bronya and she gives big buffs plus I do not have good Wind sphere so I run HP and it's better that way for me. Imo HP vs Wind boost is very similar since Blade benefits from both.

Damage wise both have very miniscule difference, somebody tested it long ago. So personally i go with double HP orb & rope so that he has more HP to consume. Mine is currently 8k HP, 65/150 Crit, and 128 spd.
