For example, in the critical build using two critical bonus damage cards (like steam goblin), Agent Katar (I understand the idea of balancing the price in this first video). Well, you know, comparing them both with their fullbuilds. I for example think that the double damage build is way cheaper than the critical, and the critical build is preferable for late late games. If you do this video, maybe you can fix mine and others points of view, and help us understand better this tricky job that is the sinx.

Pretty cool and most objective comparisson i've seen to date. But it still doesn't take into account how long it takes for Poison Status to be inflicted on the target for more penetration for Daggers and during the Moonlight part, the Katat win can be attributed to the fact that the Dagger flinched twice from being hit on two separate occasions, while the Katar only flinched once. Still alot of variables that make it near impossible but this is the best comparisson so far. Good job on this particular content. Nice.

@@PayatGaming Both builds are indeed strong. Personally, i like Katars more because of the 75/100/75 size damage penalty ratio inherently being more manageable with Katars than it is for Daggers. Most weapons would need Expert PrecStone to remove penalty from all sizes whereas you'd only need Normal PrecStone with Katars. I'm happy with the result in this video because of the fact that when you look at the stuff in Skill and Rune Trees, there's really not much going for Katar users. Especially with Rune Tree, Daggers have more options with that while Katars heavily rely on Passives and Raw Stats.

Dagger is better IMO since some enemies have moderate to high luck which will reduce your crit rate even if your stat screen says "100", for example dagger will always beat crit katar against monsters like Cookie.

Crit can still use FiB, Agent Katar has +160 atk +10% crit damage, +1% crit damage per refine and Chance on hit %crit damage. Dagger upgrade to Sandstorm will be just +190 atk +10% damage to large if +10 but Sandstorm will be the best weapon for Sonic blow against Large Monsters. +100% Sonic blow Multiplier from +15 is whale territory or you're super lucky with upgrades.

Things to note The items being used were somewhat in favor of crit type, there was kobold and stuff that adds crit/luck. If it was diff dmg booster it could have turn the table around. As you can see, dagger damages faster but katar catches up pretty quick in higher ET floors. This shows dagger is good for shorter battle/low hp target but katar is for longer duration/high hp, don't you think? Anyway, thanks man. Video was good. Appreciated it much. Can I have some request? 1. Do this comparison again but against player, say tank class. 2. Dagger vs Katar using sonic blow against player. 3. Sonic blow against ET bosses. Thank you. Use slash only on those super high vitality bosses to take good use of the effect that is triggered once the mob is 30% hp or less. In a "regular" situation on most ocasions the delay you get to cast Slash worses your damage over time. If he used slash the animations alone would make the kill be around 4 seconds.

its best to make this after last job comes out. exceed break brings out a great difference between both sets mystery bow set still has higher raw damage overall malamang set still has higher crit damage overall I do have both sets available. I use mystery set for 2 things. pve wise I use it with multifire due to the higher raw atk dmg i can deliver with it. I also use this for cramped spaces like culvert / toy factory 1 top right corner where mobs stick so much together. pvp wise multifire is still great. a non geared player hit with max buffs (food and all) likely receive 60-100k dmg vs with demihuman geared players receiving 20-45k dmg altogether I still continue to use crab bow but strictly for farming minutes out and et / boss farming / mvp battle. and I'm only using 1 slot on each bow.

For MVP hunt, use Desert twilight or SandStorm for Sonic blow. You need burst damage in MVP not sustained Damage

Both builds are great imo. If you're a player who's on "Budget" or F2P, I suggest sticking to Dagger. But if you can farm fast / you don't mind spending, you can go for Katar (great for PVP as well). Anyway, Ragnarok has been all about player's skill to build his own unique character. I'm sticking to Dagger at the moment because I'm an F2P player, I'm slowly transitioning to Katar (I like the sound of Critical hits lol).

All my enchanted gears were enchanted by me, included my Blood tears with Morale 4. I've been trying some experiment with enchanting. So far, the best I've done is 2 luna brooch and 1 Str ring all with sharp blade 2 within 150 mora coins. If I ever get any solid leads I'll share it with you guys.

Are you sure thats how the precision stone works? Have you tested both to see if the expert on Katar doesn't give more damage? Some people say it only gets rid of 50% of the penalty. Like, Katar would still have 87.5% damage vs Large using the normal precision. Instead of the full 25% penalty. Did you tested that? Editing for more context, there is no ocasion where a weapon would get more than 50% less damage vs any size. Therefor expert precision stone would not make any sense.

Yes i"ve tested it using normal precision stone and expert precision stone against large monsters with Katar, the damage is the same. It could be that the tooltip isn't correct. But in simplest terms, if the penalty is only 25% use Normal precision stone - If the penalty is 50% use expert precision stone. I know the tooltip of the stones doesn't make sense,

Excellent comparison. Side question, what emulator do you use (if any)? I like how responsive and fluid it comes out in your videos, would you please share the settings on it too? I use Bluestacks, and while the 60fps certainly makes it smooth, regular emulators like mumu are more responsive with the interface, yours seems to hit a happy middle ground. I'm on a fairly good gaming pc, so that is not an issue.

Ninja Suit Moonlight +10 for the +4% melee damage and 5% Large damage. It's also 12m per piece so you need 120m to slot it. If you can afford a +10 slotted ninja suit moonlight then go ahead. Otherwise, stay with tights which costed me less than 1m

Katar crit type for me. This type hits like a truck. And quite 'durable' in a 1v1 melee duel. Even maybe against a double atk Assassin class or a Stripper Rogue class. But it also is definitely the most luxurious type in the game.
