I had a sit down with Attorney Clive Stafford Smith, OBE at the ICNA Conference to get an update on Dr. Aafia’s case and his recent visit at FMC Carswell.
Dr. Aafia has been wrongfully imprisoned for 14 years now since 2010. She is being held at FMC Carswell where; THEY HAVE 13 ALL MALE PRISON GUARDS WHO ARE ALL CONVICTED OF RAPE.
If you haven’t looked into Dr. Aafia that alone should make you start looking and begin advocating for her release and the shutting down of FMC Carswell.

Thank you so much for everything you are doing. Aafia is close to the hearts of so many people around the world. I would not be surprised if Pakistani establishment has refused to accept her back. I don't think Aafia's case tarnishes any one face more than it does of Pakistani establishment. US-Israeli faces are already so tarnished that they probably couldn't care less. Taxas is home to one of the largest Pakistani community in the US, yet they are so terrified that they hardly even show up for Palestine. I live in Canada, and the same fear prevents Pakistani communities from showing up in rallies against the genocide of Palestinians.
