It's all well & good quoting ethics, standards & codes but it's useless if it's not being adhered to & in my personal experience most of d medical professionals in Gambia lack care & empathy for the patients in most cases d private clinics put money first b4 care hence this is reflected in the sorry state of our healthcare system compared to the west or some African countries
