The first modern thinker on education is Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar and after him Shri Atal Bihari Bajpeyi who have impacted Education of India significantly. Bhimrao Ambedkar was concerned mostly about untouchability and he criticized the Mahatma Gandhi in the way he should be at the time when he was the well known accepted leader. Gandhi ji and Ambedkar ji both had deepness like ocean which needs time to compare both great personalities. If some firm decision has taken at the time of birth of New India by considering the most educated Ambedkar then today's scenario would be different definitely. One thing has cleared that appeasement has been implemented immensely in the India.

It is not correct to say that he was financial well off. He was not having money to after his family as his children died due to malnutrition and illnesses. He achieved such a high education during the period when nobody had such education in whole of the country not only his own community.

Nehru initially rejected the Hindu code bill because the bill was extremely radical.... and there had been wider protest by Hindu sangathan against the bill. And Gandhiji had been abused & hurled shoes & chappal only for the sake of Dalit upliftment but still Ambedkar abused him all his life.
