Probably Ankit ji was a kid and might not have known when Saddam Hussein advocated for boycotting US dollar . It's not as if Ankit shah predicted this. interestingly Saddam was not overthrown immediately after gulf war. But few years after gulf war when he started advocating banning of US dollar. USA will not let this happen so easily. Even Venezuela faced sanctions for this reason Although I also love the idea of India standing up with head held high without bowing to anybody, practically we have not reached that stage. A case in point is while we were bragging about Tejas aircraft, the reality hit us when USA did not supply the engines. It's a different point that some nationalist youtubers said india does not need US engines and india will buy from France when Modi was invited to France as chief guest. We are very far off from self reliance. You might say recently India developed its own kaveri engine quoting recent reports. But even if the scenario is correct india, will need another 10 years to build kaveri engine. Ankt ji's talk about BRICS currency is too far fetched and laughable. Still we depend on foreign powers for most of our needs. And that's the reason a pragmatic jai shankar ji declared that india nor any other country in BRICS talked about replacing US dollar . not were there any discussion in this regard, when he was responding to trumps reaction statement on BRICS. currency. Some nationalist youtubers including Ankit sha raise these issues time and again, but jai shankar ji always punctures their arguements. Ankit shah predicted about an year back that in 3 to 5 years US dollar will come to near parity with India rupee. Very laughable. His theory of BRICS currency is too far fetched. He was pinning hopes of Saudi joining bRICS, but Saudis deferred their decision. Saudi King is close friend of US president elect Donald trumps son in law Jaryd kushner. How is common BRICS currency possible with clashing founder members India and China. . Dedollarisation may happen, I am not denying it. But not in next 10 to 15 years min or even 25 years. And even if currencies are fixed against gold, then don't forget USA has highest gold reserves. Still USA is much ahead of others in technology. If china is catching up with USA, it is only because of Chinese stealing technology from western countries rather than because of their advancements. Ankit sha has strange habit of twisting his predictions and linking to what's happening now, to claim that he predicted this long time back. For instance he claimed today that he predicted Indians will face heat in USA. I agree he predicted. But his take on this was totally predicted. His position was that blacks will lose jobs and become desperate and since Indians in USA are rich they would Target Indians in USA because they are rich. I remember that video very well. But today the attacks are from white right wingers. So though he predicted Indians will be target, the reasons for being the target are different from what he predicted. However he said one thing with which I agree completely. That is regarding temple economy and religious tourism. But again this theory is not new and people knew about this long before. In fact kings used to indulge in temple construction for employment generation, apart from dharmic reasons. it is a well known fact. So while I respect Ankit shahs yearning to see a strong India, I do not subscribe to his views Yes India will be strong in a few years. But it won't directly challenge USA Anyway it's hard to see what happens in the near future, because of prospects of Bitcoins and crypto currencies and geo political factors. One more funny claim thathe predicted US will upset india in regard to bangladesh. It might seem true for some people. But US interference in Bangladesh is there since more than two years . I do not know when Ankit shah predicted this. Anyway US interference in Bangladesh is not for reasons stated by Ankit shah. it is strange that he claims to have predicted this. US interference in Bangladesh is for strategic reasons like Martin Island and to ain foothold in this region for a base . The claim that the U.S. is creating trouble for India because of free trade agreements with the UK and Canada and attempting to interfere in Bangladesh to "warn" India seems speculative and oversimplified. The interpretation of Ankit shah carries a conspiratorial tone, which is common in political commentary but often lacks nuance. Finally, to cut short the discussion, I would rely on the statements of Jaishankar ji rather Ankit Shah ji, and on record both their statements are totally opposite. There can be many more points I raise about Ankit shah ji, but I do respect him and admire him for his nationalism and I do wish his predictions come true. But in reality they may take long time . However I urge Ankit ji to continue his work as it galvanises and brings people close. This should not be taken as criticism, and my views may be wrong, but that's what I believe.
