Women dont like it if men think the world revolves around them. Men probably dont like such attitudes as well about women. Men should be aware of their talents, but they should think more in the context of community collaboration. Because the beauty of life is about randomness, randomness creates creative thinking. As Deepak Chopra says chaos and randomness are a source of creativity. Perfect order is static, it is the opposite of creativity.
@alaalfa8839
@alaalfa8839 5 ай бұрын
John Gray says women have estrogen therefore they are less rational and more emotional, probably have sensitive hearts emotions etc. Men have testosterone which makes them more calm and rational to focus on tasks. So if a wife forces a man to be too emotional, it is against his biology. If a man forces a woman to be too rational, it is against her biology. So I guess both should stay the way they are men to be rational, and sometimes use emotions of the heart. Women are emotional and sometimes use rational thinking. Emoutns probably make women intuitive, especially if the emotions come from the heart and not from the brain.

Lamman was clear in communication of his process in finding his wife. That he took the scenic route was indicative of not wanting to pull the trigger prematurely. The tissue analogy was him saying he might not have been her first date and she might not have been his first date but when they get together they saw something in one another that was not seen in other people they had previously encountered.

I believe that certain comments that were made on the panel needed to be challenged. The panelists that spoke the least had some really great things to say. The Jordans dropped some gems, though they didn't speak much. I believe they should be invited back on the podcast. We need to be careful what we glean just because of who is saying it. Most of these guest were jokes and yes the real wisdom came from the Jordans, Dr. Trimm and her spouse. our community can be so messy and we want to blame everyone but ourselves when mess blows up in our faces. Ladies- stop being thirsty. Have standards and boundaries. RC Blakes says it best ' your not by yourself , you are to yourself'. Do you realize that you were sent here to earth with an assignment?!!!! Your focus should be GOD'S focus for you.

After re-listening to the podcast, I appreciated the diverse perspectives, especially Dr. Trimm's insights. However, I feel that her distinct and knowledgeable communication style might have unintentionally limited the space for other guests to express their thoughts in full. Considering this, I agree with some of the other comments who suggested that perhaps inviting Dr. Trimm and her husband as solo guests might allow for a deeper exploration of their valuable insights. And definitely Montell and Christian should be invited as solo guests as well. Regarding Lamman and his wife’s relationship prior to marriage, people seem to be assuming she waited for him. We don’t know if she explored other options or not. I do believe at the end of the day people make decisions that work best for them. Lastly, it seems as though Lamman waited to commit until he knew he was 100% ready.

@SisKaron85. I am divorced twice and have been single now for 25 years. God will restore you. I'm active in my church, the Lifebuilders Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, Md. Last month, the Lord told me to join the singles ministry. Im 64 and asked God why. He told me because what I went through in those divorces will help a lot of singles avoid the pitfalls of choosing the wrong partner and if I had forgiven my first husband because of his mistakes we would still be married. God wants to use you to help other singles and married people, too. Trust God for your journey in life. Proverbs 3:5

One of the messages that struck me was about being tuned into the frequency and hearing the messages when they come in ...When Lamman said he heard " Don't you let her leave" I got chills and felt that deep in my spirit! This recently happened to me actually. I was leaving an event and heard "stop and turn around"... but I wasn't obedient. I got outside the venue and heard "Go back inside", but I talked myself out of it. Hearing Lamman say that I got a profound sense of regret for dismissing those messages out of fear and trying to logic them away! What opportunity did I miss? Lesson learned is to listen to those messages and be faithful/ obedient even if you're unsure of why or they don't make sense. Faith over fear. 🙏🏽 Message received!

I46:40 Dr. Cindy Trimm head strong, independence, or confidence is coming off very rude. In my opinion. She didn't allow Laman to correct her understanding of his analogy, and left him painted as a player who had women strung along everywhere. Now as Christine Keys is trying to ask his question she says "Im making a statement". He wasn't finished yet. I'm not familiar with who she is, so maybe I'm totally misreading her, but in my opinion humility isnt her strongest value.

Wow!! This panel was great. To be able to laugh so hard and yet receive wisdom and enlightenment was wonderful. Montel and Kristen Jordan are great, although they did not get to speak much. Hearing from other men of color and seeing them progress in biblical principles, love like Christ, and hearing their views on relationship taught me a lot. Thank you for this gift @Dearfuturewifey !!

It would be fantastic to see a sit-down, one-on-one conversation with the Tomlinson’s. I believe their exchange would add another layer of depth and insight to the already effective discussions. The show has been progressively improving, adding a range of perspectives, which is truly enriching. Keep up the excellent work, and thank you for consistently delivering such engaging content.

That tissue box analogy had the Dr triggered. She kept cutting him off when he tried to clear up her own misunderstanding. She was being rude over talking him. And lisa cutting people off before they can finish was annoying. So Cindy and him married in 2018. This is her first marriage. She married him at 60 year old. Interesting 🧐 she has a lot of masculine energy. I wish them the best of luck.

His wife equally, is a real one....sharp shooter, to the point in love. I love them as a couple. Thank you Latteras for bringing this panel together, for the edification of the people🫡👌🏾 Sidenote: Montells wife looks like the late singer Selena (may she continue to rest in peace🩵🕊)...a whole lot, like wow.

Great podcast. I wish it was longer. Everyone was great, I hope next time Dr. Cindy is on, she doesn’t do most of the talking. Not that she didn’t and doesn’t come with good word; I just wanted to hear more from others as well. Especially the 2 brothers beside Ms. Woo. Please have the Jordan’s and the Tomlinson’s on the podcast for their own episodes. I know we will all be blessed by them.

If he brings Dr. Trimm back, she and her husband should be his only guests. If Mr. Rucker attempted to defend himself with the same energy she gave him, it could have turned into a very uncomfortable panel with Dr. Trimm looking like the victim, even though she was the aggressor.

I think this was an interesting conversation! Some constructive criticism that perhaps the team already considered: The conversation would be even richer with less panelists. That way, more depth is achieved with a more coherent flow and the speakers have a more equitable speaking time.They ALL had valuable insights to share, and I wish Dr. Trimm's participation and perspectives weren't placed on a pedestal (not saying this was the intention, but it was obvious that some speakers were given significantly more airtime, were allowed to develop their perspectives/stories, etc., and received more verbal praise and appreciation than others). I see this happening in christian and non-christian spaces where fame/admiration, etc. could cause us to unintentionally disrespect people who are not seen as operating at the same level or having as much experience or age or wisdom. They were all invited to be on the panel and it would have been great to have seen everyone accorded the same level of respect. I know this is not easy to organize, so all in all, congratulations to Laterras and the team for pulling this off! 🙌

So glad I stumbled across this episode. Amazing panel, much needed conversation. As a married woman concerned for my adult children and loved ones who desire marriage I'm disturbed by the current gender war between some men and women currently playing out on social media. I agree with what was shared on the panel about dating multiple people at once (without any sexual contact). Unfortunately there are so many people who place sexual gratification above relational compatibility so it leaves those desiring to leave sex off the table with limited options and they end up discouraged and stuck in silos reinforcing their bad habits that can end up making them less desirable for those seeking marriage
