Hit me like a ton of bricks one day. I told my wife that I didn’t feel real anymore. I felt like there were zero boundaries between myself and anything and everything else. My ego thought that was a bad thing and the experience was incredibly painful both mentally and physically. Then came acceptance and grace. To anyone reading this, keep going! Gratitude, service, love, compassion.

Yes exactly the same with me. Also, Dr Hawkins is like a more advanced teaching and I’m not even trying to make comparisons. I’ve found out that after having interest for spiritual reality for an adequate period of time and had accumulated some knowledge and understanding, when I discovered Dr Hawkins, immediately whatever he was talking about resonated deeply as if it already where familiar. Whereas if a skeptic person who hadn’t any personal experience, if he/she for some reason listen to Dr Hawkins, it would be very hard to digest his teachings. It’s not only about being open minded but to have an intention to see things different than what we’re used to, and when one is ready the teacher shows up somehow…

@@Alex722 Same here. The synchronicities between myself and the universe expanded so rapidly after coming across his work. I even met a friend online who is a therapist/shaman/spiritual teach of sorts. He offered to test my consciousness for free. Turns out, my consciousness was 10 points below the spiritual teacher, Paramahansa Yoganadanda whom I stumbled on "randomly" 12 years ago. Being in the presence of Yogananda's Lake Shrine Temple cracked me open in a way I can't explain. Light illumined everything that day, my girlfriend (now wife) both experienced it together. Since then, I have had countless spiritual and mystical experiences, a dark night of the soul. It has been quite the ride but I wouldn't change it for anything. Dr. Hawkins was a saint and he understood the truth beautifully.

Beautiful. For whatever reason, this hit me at a very young age. Lots of ups and downs over the years, but illumination is very real. Currently, I am going through another process of solidifying a new state of consciousness and it is wonderful.

If you retrain the ego to be thankful it too gains everything. If you just get rid of the ego, YOU gain everything, except, having discarded the ego, or demeaned it, you mIssed the greatest opportunity of all which was to help the ego join you in the path to enlightenment.
@Alex7224 ай бұрын
I see what you mean, but I think you could always choose to train your ego in any point in time… As long as you’re an incarnated soul, the ego is always with you, it’s part of the packet lol… I mean “ego” in the neutral sense as the sense of personal identity. You always have a personality in order to interact with the world (3D), so you can at anytime time train it.

so many people get hung up on reaching the next state of consciousness, when the truth is you cannot get their by working/meditating. you can only reach a higher state through selfless service to others, and recognizing God in others.
@Varryify Жыл бұрын
There are actually countless ways to God from a linear viewpoint. Even a drug addict can do it. Only the seeming processes differ and how it looks from a physical viewpoint. That's why intention is so powerful. If I give you an apple then it wasn't selfless. Only if the act is done out of presence where any notion of a person doing anything for anyone else is absent would it be 'selfless'. Even selflessness get's imbibed with bad and good qualities by the ego. Look at me I'm so selfless, when's my blessing?

Ya know, I'm going to have to disagree with this one. There are many paths to the same destination and they all work. We all have different personalities and different ways of connecting with God/Source/Spirit or whatever word you choose to use. My grandfather, who passed away recently, said it best. He said to my mom when she was a kid, "Don't you think, that God, in his infinite wisdom, would be able to connect to different people in different cultures at different times in different ways?" The Spirit of All connects in infinite ways because it IS infinite, therefore, there are infinite ways to connect right back. And really, we are connecting to the deepest part of ourselves because we are that Spirit.

God granted me enlightenment and I saw how the arm test works, the muscles tighten up when he wants an arm test, my arm can get strong as well, I don't even need another to do it, I like living but my life was destroyed, I begged God to help but all they could do was give me enlightenment, an illuminated state where I can see the truth behind reality, unlike David, he did not want the truth, but a belief system that allows muscle testing, I need a book and lecture but no one will help so gotta sit in a room and suffer for no reason, medical professionals will not help me, they do not like good people, they are self centered, harm others and do no apologize or correct the issue

You *can*. Don’t let the belief that it’s for other, special beings hold you back. It’s meant for us all. Resist nothing and you’ll have done all that needs to be done. All that arises within us, all thoughts and sensations, all that arises seemingly in the world is just asking one thing of us: to be accepted. Not agreed with, but accepted as it is. This acceptance is love. From there is only peace. The rest is in the hands of God. Here’s an absolutely beautiful meditation by Helen Hamilton that goes into the heart of accepting all that is, as it is, as it arises. I can’t recommend it enough: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqC6ZYhneMSWo80

David does kinesiology 'muscle testing'. His experience is that when he asks his wife or anyone to extend their arm and resist his slight pressure, if the muscle is STRONG, then his words were the Truth. If her arm is WEAK and falls, then what was said is untrue.
