On 25.5" scale I think they would be too soft other than the 4th and 5th strings with the .038 and .052 respectively.

Dude how do u get that metal tone i have a boss katana MK2 50 watt combo amp and ive watched ola englind play on a peavy x1 i think sound chugging and the tone ive been looking for please help i dod recently get a schecter Damien 7 platinum that has active emgs but i still cant get that kind of tone

Buy a used Marshall JCM 2000 DSL or TSL then get a BOSS METAL II OD pedal and BOSS COMPRESSOR AND DELAY AND CHORUS for Eddy get a Flanger and a ElDorado pedal

You need a tube Amp all these KZbinrs fooling you with katana they are using a BOSS IR 200 with it that’s why you can’t chug

The amp is a Peavey 5150 all valve head running through a Marshall JCM 900 cab. The Tubes are from Mesa Engineering. I actually just used the amp itself even though I had pedals out front ready to go. Recording was done with a Sterling Condenser mic running into a Tascam DP-02CF.

lol just roll off your mids all the way. You will achieve questionable tone that way

Boss Katanas are fine amps, idk why people are telling you they're not. Turn the gain down (to where you can get a clean tone if you roll down your guitars volume) and practice hitting the strings harder
