The truth is Michael was depressed and had severe anxiety. His life was stressful. He used drugs during the day to function, for his dpression and anxiety and at night to sedate him and help him sleep because he had trouble sleeping. Being so sedated slows your breathing and he couldn't get up to go to the bathroom. This all makes sense. Its very sad. He needed help not drugs.

It was obvious Michael was dead when they arrived. I think Conrad wanted the efforts to continue so people would think he was doing a good job and not charge him with murder. He didn't even do CPR properly, and he is a heart doctor. If you are right that he spent hours doing it, that is ridiculous too. He should have called 911. The hospital, and even just medics, could have given Michael medicine that Conrad would not have had with him. He wouldn't have had a defibulator with him. The medics would have had one.

Yes, you are right, but he couldn`t sleep because he had taken ephedrine that day so he could be fit for the rehearsals. Ephedrine plus Demerol withdrawal lead to inability to sleep. And being regularly on propofol before that he had no REM sleep and was loosing weight. And as he ate too little his body simply didn`t have enough nutrients to produce any necessary chemicals for normal sleep/awake cycle.

At the end, are they trying to say that Mike put that in his IV bag? How could he, if he is saying Mike was so bad off, that he can't get up to pee? Mike may of had a sleep problems, but I do not think he would put more of that drug in his IV bag. Unlike Dr. Murray, I think Mike had enough sense not to mess with something he had no idea how to use. Mike wanted help sleeping, but didn't want to die. Mike wanted to live. To me, I do not see Michael Jackson ever laying down to get his body pump full of Anesthesia from a heart doc of all doctor. Looks like if Mike wanted to use that form of meds to go to sleep, he would have gotten himself a Anesthesiologist. I mean Mike was afraid people were going to kill him, then do something like this? I don't think the doctor went around telling people that Michael had a bag. It probably came out in the autopsy. Also, he would have only had it when sleeping. Everyone that is put under general anesthetic has a bag, even if they don't remember having one. You lose control of your urine once you are far enough under. Everyone takes a different amount of time to recover from the anesthetic. When I recently had surgery and was in the recovery room, they had a really hard time waking this one guy up, I couldn't see him but it seemed he was going in and out of consciousness. Once I was awake I felt fully awake. I had a catheter. It did not get removed until I got a regular room. The dr seemed upset it was left in for so long. He wanted me to get up and walk around but I couldn't until it was off.

Uhm..i'm admittedly a "a day late & a dollar short" to this convo, yet have a question: How come i'm alive? i had an *uterine ablation* a year ago bc i was *anemic* after pre-menopause mennoroghia. *i was injected with Versed, & PROPOFOL.* When i heard that word, i became alarmed. i was told that *it had a short half life* , making it ideal for "procedures/Surgeries" where *intubation was unnecessary* bc it was akin to Twilight Sleep. So, i checked into "Outpatient Surgery", & my surgery truly was 10 minutes long. *i had no intubation, so, why am i alive??* Nothing was "breathing for me" except an oxygen mask.

The drug has a short half life that is why it was ideal for day case surgery. You are alive because in a hospital setting your vitals were being monitored. Heart rate, respiration etc. If you had momentarily stopped breathing they would have immediately intervened, by repositionin your neck, tongue or if necessary using an ambu bag to help you breathe. People with sleep apnea usually stop breathing many times in a night in their homes, but they are not too drugged up to resume respiration.

It seems so medically unethical for any dr to be putting someone under anesthesia for “sleep” at night. That isn’t normal sleep cycles, anyone who’s had surgery knows you wake up exhausted and groggy and want to go right back to sleep. Without getting REM cycles I can easily see why he would want 16 hrs of “sleep” or whatever you’d want to call this. I heard it speculated just like plastic surgery, good drs would’ve said no but because he had the $ he could eventually find someone to do what he wanted. Mr “I had his penis in my hand every night” was very well compensated per my understanding. No wonder he was charged with the manslaughter, though. So so unethical.

It was done to show the poor care Michael received, not to embarrass him. He shouldn't have been drugged to the point he needed this. Everyone needs something like this when they are put under general anesthetic. I don't think his doctor went around telling people. It just would have been evidence that the autopsy would be required to mention. Like Dr Drew explained.. if someone just takes regular medicine to help with sleep, they don't need this. What was given to Michael was not what a normal doctor would do. That's why his doctor was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

An autopsy is a legal document. They can't leave stuff out because it might be embarrassing. Your line about no one would know what it was etc.. is EXACTLY why it needs to be shown. The world needed to see how bad his dr was. Dr Drew was outraged. You could tell. The world needed to know that Michael was so heavily drugged that he couldn't wake himself up to go to the bathroom. A normal person would be woken up by the need to go. Michael wouldn't wake up due to being drugged to the level of a patient having surgery! If Dr Drew was just trying to show it to embarrass Michael, then that would be wrong. Remember he is a real doctor. Unlike Dr Phil. This is the type of stuff he is going to do on his show. (I haven't seen his show enough to know if it is a decent show or not.) We should be happy at least one show is showing the truth. Look at all the people who will tell you all kinds of things wrong about what happened to Michael. That he was a drug addict who died of a drug overdose, that he killed himself etc. He died because of "acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication" HIs heart stopped because of medicine his doctor PERSONALLY gave him. As in the doctor injected Michael. Michael did not give the medicine to himself. Michael did not overdose in how we normally think of it. He should have been put on hospital monitors. Someone should have been in the room with him at all times. Actually, he never should have had propofol at all. It is meant for doing surgical procedures. I hope Dr Drew went into these things. But even if he did. what people would remember is seeing the condom cath. If that makes them think... wow that doctor was ridiculous to put Michael in that situation.. then it was a good thing. If it made people think hahahaha then it was bad. I would think most would take it as it was obviously intended by Dr. Drew... He was very angry. He wasn't presenting it like hahahaha.
