A former refugee who survived torture from Sudan's civil war has beaten the odds.
Dr Emmanuel Taban was recently named one of the 100 most influential Africans of 2020 by London-based New African Magazine…
He has been hailed for his work treating COVID-19 patients at a hospital here in Johannesburg.
He successfully uses a procedure known as flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy on critical-ill COVID-19 patients.

So basically most refugees come to SA because we don't have refugee camps. If we introduce refugee camps, we will see a disappearance or reduction of refugees!! Congratulations to Dr Taban, His story is very inspiring💪💪, but unfortunately it is used to encourage illegal and mass migration into SA. It is used to encourage migrants from countries that have ailing economies to think they will come to SA and a red carpet will be rolled for them and unfortunately at the expense of SA. People from war zones should be assisted, but this economic refuge we see in SA will eventually turn to chaos and never ending tensions. Unemployment and poverty is our modern day wars.
