What I like about both of them is that they have more freedom to do what they want to do. I used to love Seth Meyer's segments but they have become soo repetitive, soo similar in their structure. It's basically fill in the blanks with the daily news cycle. Also the whole aura of self-righteous woke-ness and the cheap shots about other people's looks, bodies etc. Of course, Colbert and Kimmel also use insulting language but with them it's not just mean-spirited assaults on people they don't like.

I appear as a lib or a con completely depending on context. So if I anger some “conservatives”, I no doubt appear as a liberal. But then I believe that conservatives either have lost their soul or don’t actually know what conservatism is. No doubt some people think that they are conservatives if they stand against democrats, because trump has shown how hypocritical “conservatives” truly are. The topic of legality is an interesting topic in itself. Cornell law school has a historical discussion on this topic and the power of the congress is not well defined in the context of impeachments. One can argue that congress has subjugated itself to the executive overtime. so much so that the one who presides over the government (otherwise known as the president) has turned into some kind of dictator or king. Congress needs to act like congress.
