Hi Carol, thank you for taking the time to explain this. Very interesting. When asked to consider changes to her protocol, Dr. Goldner typically explains that she has worked with 5000 people and she trusts the results that she’s gotten wth her disease reversing protocols. She uses salt to replenish that lost from hyper hydration, and if it’s iodized, for the iodine and sodium replacement. If it’s not then she recommends taking the iodine supplement. She will only speak about what she has had tested and proven results on. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.🌻🥰🌻

Thanks Nan, it looks delicious. I have her book (and yours) so I will be for sure making it as soon as I get some pineapple. I am on day 6 (cleanly)of Dr. G’s protocol. 😀 I have been thinking about doing it for months now but just couldn’t bring myself to start. By sharing your journey following Dr.G’s protocol you inspired me to finally just do it. So thank you for the push I needed, I know it will be worth it ! I have been WFPB for about 6 years but have struggled with sweets even though they are compliant sweets. But I think my taste buds are being “reprogrammed” 😂 Love your sunflowers! 🌻 🥰🌻

I’m glad you love my sunflowers Karalee, they are my soul flower. I am so happy that I could make a difference, and so pleased that you’re doing this. She said it got harder on the second and third week, and interestingly, I felt the most challenged by it then as well. Now I’m going into the fourth week and I feel much more settled. Stay in touch and tell me how you’re doing if you would.🌻🥰🌻

I stand corrected, I looked in my Dr. Goldner‘s cookbook and she does use rice vinegar. I made that dressing and it is freaking amazing. I’m so glad you mentioned the rice vinegar because I would’ve used apple cider. But I saw rice vinegar and another one of her recipes so I’m glad it’s allowed

Hi Cheryl, thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to write. Wow, high raw vegan for 8 years; I’m sure that it has served too well. And yes, I can imagine that it would be a challenge to be faced with a SAD diet on a daily basis. You are so smart to redirect your attention to reminders a value and power of healthy food to heal. Hi Roland, I have done a deep dive into her work, and paid a lot of attention to the results that she is getting as highlighted by those who connect with her during her Q&A sessions. I have been which helped me recover from pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, painful, rheumatoid arthritis, symptoms, and some other issues. But it’s taking her hyper nourishment to kick it up a notch, which I believe will lead to greatly reducing, or eliminating the antibodies to my autoimmune diseases. keep watching, will both be learning together?🌻🥰🌻

My goodness Kristen, what a kind and enthusiastic comment. I have been WFPB, and wrote my book Aging Powerfully singing the praises of Lifestyle is medicine, with WFPB as the foundation. I believe so strongly now that. What a plant-based diet alone can heal, Dr. Goldner’s protocols count hyper nourishing is the step up. Thank you for watching this; please keep watching and stay in touch. I appreciate your connecting. 🌻🥰🌻

Hi Pamela, I’m so glad you wrote, and I am very pleased to hear that I inspired you the full protocol. Although as Dr. Goldner has said it gets a little bit more challenging, the second and third week when urges come up, it’s worth sticking too. I’m amazed at how I am now able to run- will actually trot-on a knee that has a times kept me from even walking a short distance. That’s the value of cellular repair. I’m going into my fourth week and then will have labs during the third week of October to compare where I was when I began. Be sure to tell me how you’re progressing. My best to you.🌻🥰🌻

Well done Nan!🌻🌻 That salad looks super nutritious! I'm going to make it this evening. Chef AJ had Dr. Goldner on her KZbin channel last week. The topic of discussion was Multiple Sclerosis. Anyone Interested should check it out. Here in Canada where l live, we still haven't experienced frost. It's actually still warm for this time of year. Temperatures will start dipping this week, so l'll be bringing my potted basil indoors soon. I just spent a week in the northern forests harvesting the super medicinal chaga mushroom . Will have plenty to make as a tea this winter. I'm a big fan of mushrooms. It's truly a superfood. Have a wonderful day and thanks for sharing.

Hi Louis! Thank you for sharing. I saw their interview and I too thought that is was very worthwhile. So you are a food forager?! Well at least mushrooms. What a treat to go into the forests gathering such a valuable treasure. I too love mushrooms, but lack your knowledge to gather them safely. Last year we travelled a bit in Canada. The farthest north we got was Golden. What a beautiful country you live in! 🌻🥰🌻

Yum! That salad is a good one. The broccomoli is my favourite recipe from the book. And I'm enjoying dehydrated tomato flax tortillas, which I've modified by adding in some almond pulp left over from my homemade almond milk. I'm in Vancouver (the Canadian one) and it's starting to get cold and rainy here, so I've been making some raw soups and stews as well. There are just so many options.

Hi Apple! I too like the guacamole. There are a lot of terrific recipes in there and I still have a lot to try. I make the tomato flax tortillas into crackers, so I dehydrate them until they are completely dry. They’re delicious aren’t they? It sounds like you are very familiar with this protocol too. Thanks for sharing! 🌻🥰🌻

Looks delicious. Can you have dates on the protocol?
@VagabondMangoАй бұрын
Dr G says no dates. Too much sugar content. But I have healed so much and I use about 5 dates per day. Organic Medjule dates. So I suppose i could do better but I hate the taste of the cruciferous greens without them 😩
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Hi Kim, no dates on her hyper nourishing healing protocol. The point is pure anti-inflammatory and the highest of the nourishing foods. It’s rather restrictive, but I keep imagining as I follow it, that everything that goes into my mouth is helping, not just neutral, or not damaging, it’s a helpful mindset. Thanks for connecting and keep watching. Please stay in touch. 🌻🥰🌻
@kimskitchen123Ай бұрын
@@VagabondMango I found a post from about 7 yrs ago when someone asked the same question and she ( Dr.G reply that they are not healing but ok to have. I only have had a very small amount to sweeten a dressing when needed. Been on the protocol for two weeks now.

Nan do you take vitamin d3 or vitamin d3k2? I’m having a hard time debating which one is important to take.
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Hi Barbie, I take vitamin D3. There are a lot of plant foods that we eat on this protocol that are rich and K2; that’s my rationale. Thanks for connecting. Please keep watching and stay in touch.🌻🥰🌻
@IamBlessedBarbieАй бұрын
@@NanSimonsen you sure Nan because K is different from k2. We get k from plants but not k2. Can you check that for me please.
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
hi! To double check I researched K2 and plant sources and they do include broccoli, spinach, and other plant sources. I also heard Dr. Goldner just today in one of her past Q&A sessions on Wednesday and someone asked that same question. Her simple answer was that she takes vitamin D3, sees no reason to take K2. I hope that’s helpful. 🌻🥰🌻

The salt has to be iodized… don’t know if you mentioned that. Because the cruciferous veggies deplete the body of iodine and that’s her easy measurement to keep that from happening. I use kombu flakes. Specifically kombu because it has the highest amount of iodine of all of the see weed type of things. And the iodine has to be taken 2 hours before or after the cruciferous veggies. And also rice vinegar is made from grain so I’m not sure if Dr. G would use it in her protocol. I haven’t tried this recipe cuz the avocados are high FODMAP and they hurt my stomach which is such a bummer. And tomatoes are a nightshade and cause my arthritis to flare up. I guess I’m not healed yet because I’ve been doing the smoothies for a year and a half and then I cheat. I need to do her one on one because I’m sabotaging the protocol. But my muscle disease has improved so much. I don’t need a neck brace to hold my own head up. Sometimes breathing is hard if I cheat… but I really need to start walking AND get on protocol to heal. Thanks for your videos! They remind me to quit screwing around. lol
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Hi thank you for sharing. I follow Dr. Goldner’s advice that I have heard again and again, that we don’t have to use iodized salt, we can take iodine at 150 mg if no thyroid disease, 130 a day with thyroid disease. That’s what I do, and I maintain with foods that she recommends like Braggs aminos, and salt recommended in her recipes. Thanks for connecting. Isn’t it exciting that you have seen results on your? if in two weeks when I get retested, I don’t see what I was hoping for, I will work with her directly. I appreciate your writing. Take care of yourself. 🌻🥰🌻

You look amazing ❤ can you eat nuts and seeds in this protocol???
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Good question Clara. Because the point of this protocol is to cut way down on omega sixes which are inflammatory when INXS, and they are in excess in almost everybody, and to increase omega-3 fatty acids, which are anti-inflammatory, and highly nourishing. The strongest omega-3 fatty acid plant sources are in flax and Chia. So yes, you can eat flax and Chia seeds-as a matter fact, a half a cup a day is recommended if you can take much-but all other nuts are higher in omega 6, and so are avoided during the hyper nourishment and healing period. I hope that was helpful. Let me know how you’re doing as you progress.🌻🥰🌻

Love all of your content! The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the sea salt/salt usage. I prefer to use Dulse flakes, wakame or kelp as my main source for iodine and minerals. Just think, would we drink sea water? Also, our blood plasma Hemoglobin identically matches plants blood plasma (chlorophyll) with the exception of the central atom. Our central atom being of iron and plants being magnesium. If we use chlorophyll containing green plants or even grass as an example to how we handle salt…. Well, to put it simply, if we sprinkle salt on grass, it dries up, damages and dies. Same goes for gardening with salt or sea salt. If we were to water our garden with sea salt or add it to our fertilizer as plant food, the produce starts to die. However, plants and produce still need minerals and this is why they sell and recommended mineral rich powerhouses of feed that contain sea vegetables (examples: kelp, spirulina, chlorophyll, Dulse, wakame, nori). The whole point to remember is to consume things that breed more life, not take away. 🎉🎉🎉❤ Curious to know your thoughts!❤❤
