Wonderful discussion! I’ve been doing FT for about 13 years. Pretty much the most important work I’ve ever discovered. I’m 55 now and what this work has done for my back pain and overall quality of life can’t be understated. It feels like a super power. Please keep doing this work sir!

Makes absolute sense ….. as a golf coach for over 35 years I was always telling my clients to get the foundations right first as you will only ever be as good as your foundation allows. Thank you Mike and good luck with the work on your posture, I can definately see the positive difference it will make to you. 🙏🤗

Not really related to the current subject matter but a thank you for this channel. Confession: i subscribed to this channel but didn’t watch any videos until two weeks ago. I'm a former 20plus years type 2, High Blood Pressure, obese (visceral & body fat) ive slowly added practices to my daily habits ever since Covid. Fasted Exercise 1st, then Intermittent Fasting (Time Restricted Eating), Low Carb High Fat WOE, now Ketovoire/Carnivore. Breathwork is my new addition; However, after listening to todays interview i realize i need some foundational "rehab" to add to my tool box. Thank you for your dedication

I have been doing foundation training for over a year. Significant improvement in core strength, posture, breathing, balance…. Take weekly training led by chiropractor who is certified ft trainer. Highly recommend it for anyone. All you need is your body and a yoga mat.

I agree 100% .. i had a very physical job for many, many years... life change, sedentary job, i aged 20 years in 6 months.. just bending down to pick up a piece of paper off the floor became hard..

Hey mike you should check out a guy called Neil Hallinan. He does a very similar thing, his speciality is called postural restoration and he was actually one of the first people to get me into breathing, even ahead of Wim! Most of his physical therapy centers around breathing and he was the one who got me breathing with my diaphragm (to fix my back pain initially) which lead to me learning everything i could about the breath from (amazing) teachers like yourself. But yeah, check out his channel mate. His stuff about the LEFT vs RIGHT diaphragm (yes we have two diaphragms due to the asymmetry of our internal organs like liver, stomach etc) is fascinating and i dont think ive heard you or your guests discuss the different sides of the diaphragm on your channel. A collaboration maybe? 🙏

Thank you so much, Mike and Eric. That was so interesting - even if understanding some technical terms is difficult for me as non native speaker. But I will watch this again. I think, this techniques/ training are something I now need more then ever bevore and I want to learn more about this! This could be just like Vivation another game changer for my life wich I found through your channel.

Consistent movement, mobility work, and all that is the only way to get the posture right, no amount of therapy and chiropractor would do it, the hard truth to face, but you gotta get up day after day after day and practice you movement.
