I feel the exact same way about feeling sadness for Hasnat Khan. He and Diana should have found a way to get married. He has paid the price for not marrying her when she wanted him to. He finally got married to another woman and it didnt work out. Hasnat left Diana a voice mail on the night she died. Some close friends say they may have gotten back together one day. When Diana first told Hasnat about Dodi, Hasnat said something to the effect of, "It will kill you." I dont know exactly what Hasnat had in his mind to say that but what an irony it came through. Dodi left his fiancee Kelly unceremoniously for Diana and the poor woman, Kelly, suffered greatly. I think Hasnat Khan was a higher caliber person than Dodi and would have been perfect for Diana, and would have been very sane for her. Dodi and his father basically killed Diana with all their silly shenanigans that night in Paris when she died. Hasnat just didnt want the high profile life marrying Diana would have afforded him. But they should have still gotten married and figured it out. They could have found a way. True love is a rare or a not very frequent thing. When you have it, you have to grab it and hold to it tightly - even if the situation isnt perfect - because maybe you wont find that true love again. I think Diana met a tragic fate but which could have been avoided. Hasnat had a woman in Diana who truly adored him. Diana and Hasnat could have grown old together. It makes me very, very, very sad.

I think Princess Diana suffered from depression and/or anxiety; I believe because she was afraid of being abandoned. Her mother left her when she was a child, and Charles abandoned her, too, for Camilla. Diana's life was too tragic. I'm so sorry she died. I cried and cried when she was killed. Like so many people, I loved her and wanted her to be happy.

I could not agree with you more. It was true love between Hasnat Kahn and Princess Diana and they should have married. I truly believe it could have worked. Mr. Khan needed someone to have told him to please lessen his reactions to the attention Princess Diana received. All the commotion would have diminished at some point. He just needed to be cooler with it. No doubt Diana would be alive today if they had honored their love. Love is love. They would have been very happy. Had children, let their love grow. You dont question love. Or not embrace that love because of what other individuals or institutions feel about it. You dont feed into that, period. It's rubbish. A couple is living their own happiness. They are separate from other orbits around them which declare what something should be. It doesnt matter if you are royalty or whatever else. To thine own self be true. Hasnat Khan and Princess Diana should have kept it simple. They could have just figured out where best to live and then make it work. When love is real, you just seize it. Oh gosh, if it only had been different. Princess Diana died senselessly. Just because an over-indulged son of a millionaire got into an ego-trip speed duel with the French papparazzi. Anyway, the story should have been vastly different. I am so sorry Princess Diana and Hasnat Khan...but how can destiny be quibbled with... still, it's tragic....

Unlike Prince Harry, Dr. Hasnat Khan, listened to his family when they expressed reservations about him marrying Diana. (Not that Diana was horrible, like Meghan Markle is horrible! -- But there were to many obstacles to a happy marriage between Hasnat and Diana) In contrast, Diana's family, Prince Philip, Prince William, and Harry's friends warned him about Meghan and Harry didn't listen.

Diana's and Hasnat's love story is one of the most tragic ones to me. Growing up, I really loved Diana and I believe they would have been so happy if they married. He still loves her, there's no doubt; he's never been successful with anyone else after her. The reporter was wrong to bring her up in this interview. I don't know what she saw in Hasnat but she did say he would be the only person to never sell her out and she was right, everyone else played her except him.

Everyone on the planet loved Diana but she wanted someone to love her and even lay their life on the line for her. But it seemed nobody could get past her celebrity. She wanted a husband to love her like a husband should love and adore his wife but she couldn't even get Hasnat to move somewhere where they could have a more private life. All the men she loved used her or saw her as Diana, Princess of Wales, instead of just Diana, a beautiful, charming loving woman and mother with a good heart. RIP Diana

I felt like he truly loved her and she loved him as well...a true love...deep and emotional. Compare that to her love for Prince Charles who was uncaring, boorish, weak, and indecisive. He broke most of their wedding vows and was indifferent to her. However, there were several unresolved issues that kept Princess Diana and Dr. Khan from getting married and having a life together. Just another huge tragedy piled on top of all her other issues. If there was ever a person that God should send back because their life was unfinished I would want it to be her. May she always rest in peace.

He can’t say it, im from his culture the society would eat him up alive, but he did love her

He says she was a good friend, so he loves her as a friend and that is what matters - the physical comes and goes.

Haznat Khan is a wonderfully, clever + honourable man. And had she been permitted, she would have remained loyal to him…+ been happy with him…for the rest of her life…+ a union many of our people would have happily blessed. At that time in history…behind the scenes Palace Grey Suits would never have permitted an alternative faith person to marry the future King’s mother. This actually broke her spirit + the Fayed debacle, leading to her tragic demise, was nothing more than a smokescreen. Diana was impulsive…but she would never have humiliated her son, the future King, or the late Queen by entertaining anything serious with a wealthy Playboy + his socially scheming father. Just look at the damage Harry has created for his family + our nation in marrying a barely educated bit part actress whose ambition was a yacht hopping Playgirl with the richest of men! 🤔

I don't think he should marry with Diana. He clearly wanted keep his Pakistani backgrounded quiet life and Diana still needed high level of security guard. Maybe he wisely realized it at some point. They loved each other,but lived in a different life style. And that's why Diana went on a vacation with Dodi after splitting this relationship. In a reality, she only could date with rich man. Sadly, she took so wrong choice...

He was a much better person than her. He dodged a bullet. He left her because of how she Spoke about the RF in public. He's to much of a gentle man to speak publically negatively about Diana.

She was hounded by paparazzi daily. I don't believe he wanted any part of that lifestyle. He knew his life would never have peace. That's incredibly sad for both.

She made the decision too and thought it was best for him because she didn’t want it tampering with his career. He wasn’t about fame unlike a lot of love interests of hers at the time.

At 2:37 Dr Hasnat states that three people died in the accident. I thought it was only 2. Mr Fayed and lady Diana. Do I know otherwise?

There are rumors here stating that as a Muslim he felt disrespected. He was full of spite and bitterness after the split; bc Diana and Dodi getting together so soon. He apparently put a hit out on Dodi and Diana.

She would have to say will you marry you,are a very respectable and clearly handsome and a kind man always,hit the hearts of many,he did not take care off her she did need protection and that is what he did not have and her visit to Pakistan were dangerous and her relationship with this doctor was dangerous as a member a christian,Maybe it was her mental health issue is why she did not care about the dangerous place she was in.
@susanann77486 жыл бұрын
Sheriff Sarah Begum. What are you talking about? She fell in love with Hasnat. Nothing to do with her mental state and not caring about being in a dangerous place. She loved him so much. Why is marrying a Christian dangerous? Muslim men are allowed to marry Christian women. Please read up about Islam.
