Never have we needed hope more. What do you think we can do on our part to help our planet? Is there anything you are doing that you are particularly proud of?

We can engage! The simplest thing of caring and giving our planet our attention - however modest - will knock so much positive change forward. I'm proud (and incredibly lucky) to be working in conservation in my day job, but there can be so much pride in small actions: reading the Science and Nature sections of the media, cleaning up other people's litter, being mindful of diet etc. These are small things that anyone can do, which together have potential to change minds, change lifestyles, and ultimately change the status quo 🌍 .

Jane Goodall is a lovely person. I had the honor of meeting her several years ago. She’s delightful and so passionate about her causes. Nice to see her happy and healthy. Loved this interview!

She's such an incredible woman isn't she. So inspiring and if only the world was full of many many Dr Jane Goodalls, it would be much better place (lots of Fearnes would be a great addition too!) You were both fab in this interview. I suffer with a v debilitating neurological illness & have been ill for 23 years, so it's often v difficult to feel hopeful (espec when the pain is so all-consuming) but listening to this podcast has given me a real boost. Thanks Dr Jane and Thanks Dame Fearne xxx
