Must admit I missed the question @ first listen. Maybe we should change the definition of manhood, or the responsibilities/ roll that man plays. Since ww2 the role of women has changed drastically, women has became, providers and protectors also. Maybe the man should be relieved of the burdens patriarchy, that a Greco Roman, Abrahamic religions have placed on men. Maybe a man can adjust to being Co-protector, co provide. Maybe if we develop a system that doesn’t stigmatize a man for submitting to his feminine nature, X chromosomes, where it’s ok for him to nurture instead of demolish. Maybe just maybe. Maybe we should stop telling boys to stop crying and be a man, giving the impression that men don’t cry. There’s healing powers in tear drops, men don’t know that. Men should cry so women and society knows that men have feelings too, maybe the only outlet wouldn’t be a violent one. Maybe just maybe. The pressures of patriarchy. Maybe?
