How in the world can you determine that Moses was in a state of depression ? Are you a psychologist or a psychiatrist ? And if so, how did you develop a pathology of the situation ? Are you sure is depression or could it be that he (Moses) was in a state of ANGER because of what the Israelites did in his absence ? Get it right my brother, and then you can get a AMEN from me !

Anger over a long period of time based upon anxiety and fears not being handled properly in Jesus Christ actually leads to depression!! Also, to hear someone you are leading in the right way tell you and show you that they want to follow after other god(s). I’m not a psychiatrist either but I did study General, Abnormal, Developmental Psychology of theory and personality and stats at U of M over two years and they don’t use scripture to explain this, but this sermon definitely lines up with scripture...Of course Moses was mad, who wouldn’t be? However, in a lot of ways Moses felt like a massive failure while doing the best he could with what he had. Isn’t that the same condition and state of so many of our families where someone tried to lead in the right ways, but someone deciding not to follow?
