Nice to see a film this old in good condition; usually they’re a mess featuring people mostly standing around moving their mouths, but this one is brisk and tight with in-camera special effects - in only 11 minutes!

Now if we only had the original film adaption of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde from 1908 which is considered the very first American horror film ever, and Der Januskopf from 1920 which starred Conrad Veidt and Bela Lugosi. I wish we could watch those two lost horror films.
