Dr Joe Dispenza (author, researcher, speaker) breaks down practical steps we can take to unlock our potential. He discusses his early days of hypnotizing his roommates, the philosophy of yoga, and the three different types of stress. Dr Joe explains the neuroscience behind why rumination and invoking feelings of the past are harmful to personal growth and how biochemistry can impact pathways. He considers the reason most change is facilitated by crisis or trauma, the benefits of mental rehearsal, and somatic reactions to emotional responses.

I've followed Dr. Joe for years and he's changed my life in so many ways. Mayim, you need to snap out of the "diagnosis" stuff. You are not a diagnosis, but keep thinking that and you will always be. The best thing I ever did was just give up all of the self-obsession.

Well said. Also, not easy to quiet the constantly active mind and just BE. Tolle can be helpful to re-orient from monkey mind to just being (staying present). Once I experienced Being for a minute, everything else was just noise and unproductive struggle. That doesn't negate the value of the academic/intellectual approach, but we live in a complex reality and find it challenging to balance Being and Thinking. Both are vital. Onward, with calm and courage. 😌🕊❤️

Because of Dr Joe I was able to get off of all psychiatric meds(antidepressants, Xanax, Klonopin) I had been on for the past 30+yrs 2yrs ago and have never felt so good! His books are amazing! Used to think I couldn’t mediate but now I do it every day bc it helps me so much become conscious of the thoughts I have. Has totally slowed down my racing thoughts I used to always have. Now when I meditate I get one thought at a time and can decide if I want to listen to that thought or “skip it” if it’s not a self serving thought. Like he says “just bc you have a thought doesn’t make it true.” Life becomes so beautiful once you realize that you’re the creator of your life and not a “victim” of your life. Also identifying childhood traumas really helped me. It does work. I promise! ❤️

Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people by an upsetting event happening in their lives that takes them by surprise, unexpectedly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death. Why are so many people across the world suddenly having their appendix removed? The appendix is associated with “being in fear for one’s life”. The HEALING phase is the rupture/inflammation. While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes. Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way. It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. One hundred years later, a Fear Campaign begins, using the media to spread it......

Jonathan’s breakdown at the end was so on point. Mayim, goodness girl, you are so stuck in your *paradigm*. At the same time it’s wonderful that you are willing to challenge yourself by talking with someone like Dr Joe. By the way, he doesn’t just “purport” the changes that have happened to people, including people who had been suicidal with deep, deep depression. Just watch the testimonials from these people themselves. They will tell you how much their lives have been changed, and in the end isn’t that all that really matters?

Thanks for the reply. At that whole beginning section of her talk, and the time stamp you are pointing me to, she is basically paraphrasing his bio. You can see that she’s reading off her tablet and trying to present it in her own words. This doesn’t mean she believes any of it, only presenting what he says about himself. I’m not saying she needs to believe any of it. Everyone is free to believe what they want. However what I previously commented on was her use of the word “purported” in regards to the results of his work. There is nothing “purported” about it. People are seeing real abs actual results.

I got the sense she is just hyper sensitive to the opinions of the intellectuals who worship science like a religion. These are the people that use science to feel safe instead of feeling a sense of curiosity. I thought the big warning label at the beginning was extreme but those are the people that usually need to be talked through basic ideas like we all have different life experiences therefore our opinions on things will be varied. That group tends to not appreciate outliers and freethinkers. Ironically corporate funded studies that do the study and report the study and have vested interest of the study make them feel safer. An open minded scientist or intellectual tends to be punished by their peers all throughout history and especially today with the media fully on their side. I actually don’t blame her for being super careful around these fear based humans.

Dr Joe makes some good points, to be sure, but just doesn't bridge that gap for me. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Joe's best point is in visualizing the goal "as if" it's already true. But I'm not ready to attend his seminar. My question is whether he is living "as if" he's a good enough teacher to convince the world that they can be healed? Michael Singer speaks about applying mindfulness or awareness moment by moment in everyday life (not just meditation, but meditation is a great tool) and gives examples and guidance on how that can look, in Living Untethered especially. I've used Michael's advice and it works for me. He also says to see yourself as already having achieved the goal, where the goal is overcoming attachment, anger, depression, etc. That's been really useful for me, and it spoke to me. In Michael's teaching, he doesn't talk about healing the body per se, but I can see how that's possible. I've been able to progress with tolerating hardship, pain, attachment, anger using his teachings. When you see progress in smaller steps, it is motivating and that's what creates belief in greater possibilities for me at least.

My sister's diagnostic label slapped on her was"refractory depression" the untreatable kind. These labels ,when one has been to so many doctors and tried so many medications has a profound "nocebo" effect and continually reinforces that the person identifying with their "diagnosis" -and they cease seeing themselves or their lives as separate from it.With this work-the kind Joe Dispensa does, gave her her life back. She tapered off very powerful medications she had been on for 25 years(very slowly and carefully under a doctor's supervision over the course of a year). She has been off all meds for 6 years and the so named depression hsa not returned. Do not give your power away. You know yourself better than any doctor-they are not gods.

There's psychological backing to this "nocebo" effect. When you believe you can't do something, it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. This is why I do not think some labels are good. Some labels encourage a limiting view for a person's growth.

I started meditating with the only hope to mange my emotions and reactions a bit better, to be able to overcome the sorrow after a miscarriage, but it changed my life. Without expectation many fibroids just disappeared from my uterus. I discovered that I lived with anxiety when it disappeared. Now with the pandemic and general state of the world, I find myself struggling again with anxiety but knowing that I can manage it, that I can rewire my brain and let the magic happen. You may not want to hear it but my first thought is that you are thinking "Who am I without my story?" Your constant discussions about your reactions, diagnoses and struggles, everything is so hard.... reinforces your story and you have built a whole podcast around your disorders/diagnoses. I feel that I heard "If I want to step outside my story, I start with gratitude for things around me or people in my life and move to gratitude for my life and body or relationships etc the way I desire them to be as though they already exist.....same for your health/conditions/neurosis etc. I am saying this to be helpful not to be cruel.. and its very simplistic but don't know how else to say it but it feels like truth

Being stuck in the trauma of my past has been the #1 thing that has held me back in life. I made many decisions out of fear. Fear of getting hurt, failure, abandonment, etc. In therapy I’m trying to figure out how that past has impacted me negatively, identify the patterns and make actual changes without dwelling on the past. It is sooooo hard. I am becoming more conscious of how I respond to things and slowly making changes in how I respond. But it is absolutely exhausting. I’d definitely be open to some meditation that would move me forward in this process.

Mayim, you said “maybe god is speaking to us and we don’t know how to listen anymore.” If you think *that’s* possible, then don’t dismiss the quantum either - to those who think the quantum world is just for the “subatomic tiny stuff”, Dr. Joe has often posited that maybe we’re just poor observers. You also said that the more deeply ingrained things are, the harder is it to change your brain - SO TRUE, which is why I think that although you’re bookworm brilliant you have rigid narrow thoughts about what’s possible. I would love to see a part 2 with Dr. Joe so he can take you a little further down the rabbit hole and expand your mind a bit more.

Damn Jonathan... You nailed it. As Will Rogers famously said... "Don't let yesterday take up too much of today." Our diagnosis' can subconsciously define us... as do our memories but they don't need to. Forget about who you think you are or who you think other people see you as. Remember in college the johari's window? We've got multiple perspectives on ourselves and I think throughout time we have driven ourselves a bit nuts with it. Eckhart Tolle's book The power of now is a real eye-opener. By the way, those mosquito bites that can look like you need medical attention... That was me.. before. Not anymore. My body totally changed that for some reason. But the more you define yourself the more your body resists change. I'm rooting for you Mayim ❤️. Feel good first and then raise your vibration to that and let that be your present self then don't go back... go forward. Joe was right you can't think greater than you feel. It's all about how you feel about yourself. The good news is... If you don't feel good about yourself you can change it. You're right it can be very very hard. But remember it can also be very very easy. Depending on how open you are. Just saying.

I grew up in a family of origin where protecting parents egos was the priority. This meant that truth came second, and we were required to participate in holding up the facade of parental perfection. Small white lies so they looked good. Unnecessary lies to make things better than they were. No space to acknowledge a fixed or tangible reality. Some years after I left the home of my family of origin, I chose radical honesty. I'm not recommending that for everyone in every situation, but sometimes you have to swing wide or overcorrect. I just made a choice to not protect myself or others from reality or genuine responses, and then I kept making that choice over and over.

@@Amy123456788 Hi there! I first listened to a video on youtube of one of his lectures. I then bought the progressive and intensive course online and listened to it several times while using one of the meditations on youtube to meditate to. I meditated about 30 mins in the morning before work, I meditated on my lunch break in my car and I would meditate as soon as I got home from work for 1-2 hours. I would do it regardless of how I felt. One thing I had to do was get past my body wanting to get up. It would get agitated sitting there but I refused to allow the sensation of agitation to overtake me. I would concentrate of the feelings in my body while doing the meditations in order to quiet my mind. They key for me was to just meditate a lot everyday. I knew it was for a season in my life and that I wasn't going to meditate hours each day for the rest of my life. I now meditate for about 1 hour a day and try to stay conscious of the feelings in my body and the thoughts in my mind. If I start to ruminate, I will drop down into the feelings and physical sensations of my body (life my feet touching the floor, or my thighs touching the chair) and relax into that feeling, even when I am not actually mediating. It helps stop the monkey brain. Do the work everyday brought me out of depression and anxiety and suicidal ideation completely.

Thank you Mayim, Jonathan & Dr. Dispenza for this:“ Thoughts are the language of the brain and feelings are the language of the body”. Seeming obvious is very, very profound. And links perfectly with the mind-body connection and mutual feedback, both in possitive or negative way. As a cancer survivor myself, I’m sure my cancer cured much better, helping me to confront chemo with a much better attitude, when my mind learned to focus and relax “in the present”, and to project a new non-predictable future anchored in the past, sweeping away anxiety & stress in the process. Books of Dr. Dispenza among others, mindfulness and ioga, helped me a lot then. With blessings from my “Western Medicine” doctors. And today still they do. After cancer was cured. A true lesson of how to live your own life better. 💜🙏🏼

Start with 5 minutes. (And please stop telling yourself you can't) and it's not necessarily easy..it takes practice. Some days are better than others, just keep on keeping on. After 2.5 years I can meditate for a couple hours and more if I want. I started with 10 minutes. I sometimes still get monkey mind.

I was much the same 10 mins at first was all my monkey would let me do But I can do an hour now It isnt easy but that's the beauty, its pushing that limit when ever you're body and mind tells you to get up and go It's funny because often going beyond that stop point is when you fall into the better states I find, and isnt that the idea Go beyond the comfort zone and get out your way See what's beyond the point of wanting to turn back It's like an experiment for me now What lies behind the uncomfortable You often get fascinating answers and inspired moments there Like the reason i started this journey was because of a truely toxic relationship I kept going back to revenge thoughts and blame thoughts Couldn't get beyond it until I decided to see what was the other side of it And bam My realisation the other side That relationship was the impetus to my journey and the reason i am who i am now, a better man with a greater understanding of a lot of things In that instance i was able to forgive, and even appreciate all that that person had inadvertently done for me That's the other side of the uncomfortable for you That's how I got out of my own way Big love 🙏🏼

🤯🤯🤯 I’ve had to pause this a couple of times just to wrap my head around what I *thought* Dr. Joe was saying. Now I’ve paused again because JONATHAN is blowing my mind with the way he’s contextualizing everything we just heard. The thought of holding a space for a different version of ourselves - such a radical notion, yet at the same time, Yeah, of course, totally makes sense! Thank you Jonathan. You rock. ❤❤ And Mayim, I had all the same questions you just articulated! I mean, are we *allowed* to go off the meds? How would we benchmark progress? How would we know if we’re succeeding or failing? I am pondering all of these questions . . . I think it’s time for a Part 2. What do you say??

His meditations take you to the place where you’re not thinking of self where your brain gets a break and the picturing of what you do want and being grateful for it then keep from thinking otherwise. Mayim seems very attached to the story of herself that she has constructed. Her scepticism to the possibility of what Joe Dispenza is proposing is understandable, but it is her resistance to it that speaks volumes. The physical reaction she experienced at even the suggestion of stepping outside of who she currently identifies as...whoa!

When you've programmed yourself to be a victom, you'll constantly find excuses as to why you are who you are. But when you see what part you took in becoming who you are and what part you'll take in changing it. Damn, that's so powerful! D. Joes work has changed my life more than any therapy ever could. He is speaking the truth. I've had mind-blowing mystical experiences while meditating. But most of the change has come by constantly attempting to stay present when i go to negative programming. I used to want to tell eveyrone who would listen to me about the work, but I've learned that I've helped those around me more when i changed myself. Be the change ✨️

I noticed that Mayim chose the words "a radical rejection of a paradigm," when for me it feels more like a shifting or changing of a paradigm, rather than a rejection. The work is not always easy, and forces you to be introspective in a deep and meaningful way. I have been to one of his events and they are incredible, but they also make you question so many things...who you are as a person, how you think, how you live your life, and the beliefs we hold and build our lives around. It's scary to look at your life and question it all! It's scary to take responsibility for our lives, our thoughts, our feelings. But, it's also empowering and incredible :)

If I understand it right, your body responding so strongly about it, is exactly what Dr. Joe means when he says that when you decide to change, your body will start shooting things at you to keep you from changing and overcoming your old self is the toughest part…and I find it extremely courageous that you are exposing yourself like this. Thank you for being so inspirational for me and for all the work that you do🙏❤️

I'm about half way through. Half of what he's saying sounds great and sensible the other half sounds like what you get told at cults, that everything is your fault, that your thoughts create your reality etc. When it comes to trauma, you can't think your way out of what you have experienced. I also think the language around diagnosis is dangerous. So much stigma and difficulty around getting help is because of people who "don't believe in labels". I once told a woman at a retreat that I didn't feel comfortable being close to one particular person (who did end up being a creep) and she just said "well that's not about him, that's just a reflection of something in yourself that makes you uncomfortable ". The end discussion between the two of you was beautiful.

I have chronic pain and a host of other issues and I slowly began to get better when i asked myself “what if everything I had been told about my conditions was all wrong”..the scientific method is fallible because it is susceptible to human error..and once and error occurs in the chain..it trickles down…but to Mayim’s point..its not a matter of will power..some people just can’t change..it’s not about will power but more about capacity..that’s why 12 step programs for example use a “higher power”….it can be nearly impossible to challenge each thought and not label it good or bad.. I never thought I could recover.. but I am slowly healing my chronic illnesses without medication and I am grateful for grace..

I really want to take a moment to thank Dr. Joe. I started learning about him in 2014. I was 15. It was after in my country Chile, we where hit with not one but two major earthquakes (8.3, 7.2) in two consecutive days. I guess it was a collective low point but for me it was something i was not expecting at all. Before this i was just an average student who did what he had to do in order to survive the system. Then after learning about Dr. Joe everything started to change, for good and i became very different and started to do much better in my studies and goals. There have been low points, not going to sugar coat it. But my perspective and energy has had a major evolution and i believe more on this work and the impact it has had and can have for so many. Thank you 🙏 Dr Joe

Having said that I refused to allow a Dr. to diagnose me with the illness he believed I had. It turns out after all these years he was wrong. My depression was based on a future truth which occured (who knew? not me) and is now dissipating because the future is changing. Mayim their is hope for your ability to change because I did. Omg I love this interview. I appreciate Dr Dispenza’s flow and focus. And his consistency even when He funds himself in environments that are not openly supporting of his amazing work. However, Jonathan’s intervention after the interview, his insight, questioning and observations where so on point. It explains why this duo works so well, it allows either of you to confront, stay curious or present when the other one is experiencing resistance or being triggered. Thank you for inviting us into real discomfort and vulnerability. I only love you and respect you more for it. This whole interview opened up a question for me: am I holding a commitment to my past in ac way to hold on to my “known identity”? Or…am I consistently committing to my desired identity (the version of me who gets to experience ALL the wanted dynamics, experiences, realities)? Before Mayim started scratching her eyes you could almost see the minute when she was pondering the weight, the meaning of simply letting go. Dropping everything and anything in her identity that is cause of pain or suffering. And in a fraction of a second deciding that posibiliy would also take from her most certainties. We are all her.

So I am a person that does a lot of inspirational speaking and I am working on being a Holistic Life Coach. Dr. Joe has been a huge huge part of the transformation of myself, my wife, one of my 3 children, and many of my friends. I have 3 of his 4 books. I can't tell you how many thousands of hours I have spent listening to interviews and I cannot tell you how awesome it was to learn so much more about Dr. Joe's past. Also, the extra scientific information Mayim brought in was awesome. Hopefully Mayim will understand that the very narrative that she is this body with all of these ailments is one of the reasons that she is tormented by her own mind and body. I use Dr. Joe's methods with the diagnostic information from this INCREDIBLE book called "The Encyclopedia of Ailments and Diseases by Jacques Martel. That book goes into the common thought patterns that lead to ailments and diseases. Over 900 of them. And yea... it smacks you in the face with the realizations it makes you have. Like... Lactose issues (Connections with your mother may be strained). Milk reminds you biologically of your mother. Elbow issues is often about a lack of flexibility in life. So much info that makes so much sense. Mayim has to understand that faith isn't based on proof. It's about belief. She has to believe that she has the capacity to heal herself. Because whether she feels that she can or she feels that she can't, she is correct either way. Because she just like all of us ARE the creators of our reality. And Epigentics and Psychoneuroimmunology absolutely prove that our thoughts not only affect our health, it affects how our genes express themselves. And Johnathan understands the multidimensionality that we possess as beings. And that consciousness is NOT isolated in just a material form. We know this because there is an intelligence inside of us that runs all the systems in our bodies and makes chemical compositions to change emotions and does constant biochemistry to maintain our skin. We must trust that intelligence to just EXPECT our heart to keep beating our our next breath to be there. Mayim. Words matter. You know this. And they absolutely have a tremendous affect on our lives and our bodies. Because everything is energy. Words are electrical signals as thoughts, chemical signals with the emotions behind them, and vibrations from your vocal cords. All fundamental aspects of Physics or Quantum Physics. "I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become." - Carl Jung

Lactose intolerance probably has more to do with the fact that we are not baby cows, which is who nature intended cows milk to be for. We are the only species that drinks milk past the point of being a baby and it's not even human milk and we have to rape and murder the other species to obtain it. Our bodies recognize the suffering that was caused to bring that milk to us. It probably has more to do with that. But I get what you're saying. I took a screen shot of one your insightful paragraphs. Thank you!

@@Becky-ol4tm The underlying question is if billions of people drink milk why is it only certain ones that have issues? I would imagine that would lead one to look at what is different about the people. Our differences are simply how our genes express themselves and Epigentics proves that is based on how we think, feel, and act. Every cell in our body is designed to be healthy and function properly. We just get in the way. You are totally correct. It is an odd obsession we have with milk but that stems from Nutrition science back in the day being sponsored by the meat and dairy industries. So they told us eat meat to grow strong and that milk does a body good. Both of which since then have been proven incorrect. Red meat is the #1 cause of diabetes. And milk does not build strong bones and most vegetables have more calcium.

Mayim, I’m not sure if you’ll read this but it’s my first time watching your podcast and I really enjoyed it! I’m a big follower of Dr Joe and have been doing his work for 2 years. I used to be like you, in the way that I would totally associate myself with my diagnosis (in my case heart failure, Diagnosed when I was 37) Thanks to Dr Joe, I’ve realized that that diagnosis is not me and that I have to dissociate myself from it in order to heal. We are not our diagnosis. His meditations are helping me tremendously. My condition didn’t happen overnight and I have to accept that it’ll take time to heal. Also, try to not over analyze everything, that will block you in your path to feel better. I can see that you are researching a way to feel better. You analyze everything at a very scientific level which is great (Dr Joe does too but he also deeply believes in a higher universal power, he does not associate that power with any religion though, I think it’s because sometimes religion can be too restrictive) but that can be something that’ll block you if you try to explain everything from the place you’re at. Dr Joe’s online classes explain the whole thing at a much deeper level and maybe that’ll help you understand his teachings. I learned new things about him thanks to this interview. So thank you! Your questions were really good! For those who would like to know more about Dr Joe’s work, I encourage you to research him here on KZbin or to buy his online classes. I am not associated with Dr Joe but that man has literally taught me how to break myself from my old self and start the healing process. I’m not where I’d like to be yet but, now at 45, I’m able to go for walks and that’s a huge improvement! Before I discovered Dr Joe, I was bound to get a heart transplant. I knew there was another way and I kept searching and found him here on YT. I still have some work to do and I do it every day. I know and have no doubt that I will heal! You can’t doubt, that’s a big part of it! You have to feel as if you’re already healed, feel how awesome that would be. That’s where the whole “magic” lies and no, it’s not easy but living with a debilitating disease is not either… and it takes time to get there but with practice, you’ll see the changes happening. I wake up earlier to make sure I start my day with my meditation, every day! You have to make it a priority, like your life depended on it because for some of us, it really does.

If you could see yourself through the lens of your audience, at least in my opinion, you would see what an amazing human you are! Loving this channel! ❤

My take after listening to Dr. Joe for years and then chancing upon this interview...is that Mayim is so convinced in her own academic belief system that she is constantly reaffirming it, over and over. We all do that to an extent, but after listening, it seems hers is extremely ingrained due to her education. She just HAS to be right. Absolutely HAS to be

I’ve been doing Dr. Joe’s work, and even went to one of his progressive events a couple weeks ago. I will say the ending conversation Relates to the idea and the awareness that you’re fighting for a life that you no longer wanna live. When you become conscious of your behavior, thoughts, and feelings that keep you attached to a personality that you no longer want to be. You’ll be able to create freedom. Try the meditations. There’s so many of them. It will help to calm your brain have heart and brain coherence so you can actually create out of the unknown.

WOW! Mayim manifested DR JOE! He is a treasure and cannot tell you how many males I know who have a huge aversion and distaste for therapy talk anything spiritual or woo woo who after listening to Dr Joe have made huge shifts because of the way the info is delivered. He actually is saving a male friend of mine in the middle of a brutal divorce by listening to him commuting to work lol

I love this interview so much because most interviews for joe just keeps talking and most hosts don’t know how to keep up with him, but I love that you stop him with your own insight, it made for an incredible conversation

No cuestion about Dr Joe´s work works. It works and there´s no person in the world so special that is the exception to this. If you do it and you are consistent (that´s the only trick) it would definitely work for anyone. Just doing his "magik breath" , as I call it, for a few minutes every day you will notice a lot of change in your state of being and health and behaviour. Try it and keep doing it, don´t let your mind talk you out of it (is what it does) I hope some day we all know and practice this and learn to heal from the inside out instead of looking for solutions to be given from someone else

I'm just like Mayim few months ago...seeking for answers, holding on to pain and victim mentality because that's what makes me-- that's my story, and if I let go of that, who am I? I'm excited for her to see the other side. What made me stop from doing what I used to do is when a spiritual friend of mine said "I know it's difficult, and you can stay there (victim mentality) as long as you can, but you have a choice to not stay there." Also what Michael Singer was preaching about, how everything in the world doesn't have anything to do with me..life goes on everywhere, not just my bubble.

Hatts off to Mayim. So intriguing and out of the box questions that are so fresh compared to all other interviews. Having already watched almost all other interviews of Dr Joe and read almost all of his books, what fascinates me is Dr Joe has the same answers. It's because I believe these same answers are the ultimate truth.
