This man's fundamentals are super strong. IAS is too less an exam to rate him. He has a broad approach on things. Inspiring!!!!

With due respect to JP, Sir why don't you apply your logic of civil services exam to RESERVATIONS !.... i.e stopping the growth of 1st generation SC, ST n BC people who got jobs under reservations, to uplift the unprivileged SC STs is not going to help for the overall development of these socially stigmatised people instead... why don't u say to that "Govt and civil society need to improve education n heath facilities for those unprivileged SC, STs of remote areas so that they can compete with mainstream SC STs (who r in a 1st stage of development)"... you are saying that, sons n daughters of nicely employed SC STs need not opt for reservations, IS A JOB... FIXED ASSET ? which can change the feature of the SC ST families forever(including removal of SOCIAL STIGMA). Over the period a son or grand son of a uncorrupted IAS can end up as a clerk or even worse, moreover social stigma will continue.... so you are trying to push them back again... this is INTELLECTUALS CONSPIRACY. As long as FIXED ASSETS are enjoyed by upper classes, reservations will be enjoyed by SC, ST n BCs. Why don't u talk about Proper implementation of LAND REFORMS. You upper class people you don't want to lose your fixed assets, political power, contracts n businesses which u r enjoying from ancient times, but you want us to leave our reservations just after enjoying them for one generation ! If ur really having concern for our unprivileged SC ST brothers ask the Govts to provide good education to them even in remote areas so that they too get their share in the overall development of SC, ST, BCs.

Job is not a fixed asset. I agree with you on that. But I don't think reservations are not a solution to give some wealth or fixed assets you call it. I think the assaigned lands should be given to scs and sts permenantly. I am not a sc.i think wealth inequality will be there regardless what you or government do. Because no body will give willfully give their assets to you because you are poor.
