Dr Kao Kim Hourn reflects on his 1st year as Secretary-General of ASEAN

On 9 January 2023, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn assumed office as the 15th Secretary-General of ASEAN. Today marks his first anniversary in office.
"I pledge to work closely with all ASEAN Member States, the ASEAN Dialogue Partners and other external partners to realise the ASEAN Community that is adaptive, agile, proactive, and responsive to harness opportunities."
