I had been in the NOI for about 2 years when this lecture was given. It’s hard to believe ifs been 32 years! Seems like just last week! Minister Khalid was a “take no prisoners” kind of Muslim. He was like a big brother to me and like a father to many. I truly miss him and can recall so many times when he would show his sense of humor and his kindness to the brothers. He represented the teachings as well as anybody who ever did in that fiery style. He loved Minister Farrakhan but miscalculated on how much the minister loved him back. As quiet as it’s kept, Minister Farrakhan loves order and is quite the military leader. He does not tolerate disobeying orders forever. He loves THEM more than any one or anything and he also loves the desperately needed military style discipline and order that is absolutely necessary in organizations like the NOI. Brother Minister Khalid. He was a good man and I pray that Allah be pleased with him.
