Suggestion: Don't say Happy Memorial Day. For many veterans, and active duty personnel, it's a day of much grief and even guilt regarding the lives of others who have died in the line of duty. Instead refer to it as Memorial Day and if you wish to call it happy address it separately as you hope they have an enjoyable or happy day or have fun things planned, etc. Much love to you pastor and appreciate you!
