New Kurdish Tv show starring my man Ahmed Yousif, you know I’ll watch that. How can I not? I’m a nerd when it comes to storytelling, especially when something new is out there, giving you hope that we may finally have cracked the code of an engaging tv show. By the numbers, the show seemed to be a hit. I wanted to love it, to be engaged throughout, But what can I say, what seemed like a promising premise sort of slowly collapsed and fell apart with its repetitive episodes and prolonged scenes.
Dav is directed by Nechirvan Keko, starring Ahmed Yousif, Dilshad Chemani, Nura Rekani, Vecan Tehsin and many more.. The story of Laween is essentially, a teacher who gets married, and then he takes a nosedive into life problems of poverty, family pressures and debts.

It is important to have constrictive critique for these local projects so that the producers get a sense of accountability and try a bit harder next time. There is always potential, but unfortunately there are always lazy productions as well. So, thank you Ayad for taking the time to create this thoughtful and multi-layered review of the TV show, I hope it reaches somewhere and encourages a positive change.

I loved the twin brothers of Shermin they were sooo funny but you can tell they filmed everything quite fast bc in the first episode when they stirred their chai they could have done it more simultaneously it would have just taken a few minutes of practice (I acted in a play once and we took details like that very seriously)
