Dr Derek Mahony was at the AAMS Congress in Rome to present his latest research on early orthodontics, dental sleep medicine and myofunctional therapy. Dr Mahony's research involved 4,600 patients over the last 15 years and he explained three important findings from his research in this video.

Ok this is absolutely great for young kids to correct their problems at a very young age. What about adults?? I have a recessed chin due to an under-developed jawline, which made my airway very narrow. My tongue doesn't rest on the palate. I have been mouth-breathing up until the age of 25. Now I'm 30 and have been suffering from sleep apnea for the past 2-3 years( the painful symptoms started at the age of 27 for me), and I can't tolerate a CPAP anymore. Am I doomed? Like, can adults above 30 benefit from Orthodontics and Myofunctional Therapy???

Thats really important. I think there is a lot of misdiagnisis of adhd. Thanks so much. Where do we learn more about myofunctional exercises
