When Karunanidhi passed away, then ruling ADMK refused permission to lay his mortal remains to rest in peace next to his mentor and leader Anna on the marina beach, Chennai; his son and present CM of TN wept and approached Madras High Court and got the permission through HC for burial on marina. If only DMK or ADMK were ruling from Capital Delhi, they would have turned Rajpath into burial ground for their leaders
