I really dig those Jadons and also those Christmas sock! I've been on the fence about getting Docs for the longest time lol but I really like the thick sole on yours. Keep us posted on how they break in over time 🔥

I have some guy friends who really like their Docs! I've worn them out a few times and they're still a little stiff but so far my feet have been fine! I think the thick Christmas socks help a lot 😁

If you ever plan on getting some I would recommend the made in england docs or even some solovairs those are a lot closer to the original docs from the 80s and 90s that'll last you a life time

Nice review. I got the vegan version of these in a size 14. They're super comfy and perfect for the cold snowy weather around here.

I love Dr Martens but I don't have Jadons. I have seven pairs of Dr Martens, mostly 1460's. A couple are regular leather and a couple are vegan. I have some Blaire sandals, some Mary Janes too. I just love the brand. My favorite shoe stores are definitely Zappos and Nordstrom too.

@@NessxStyle I just bought a pair off Amazon. I am so mad. They said they were made in Vietnam and when I got them they were made in China. Normally that wouldn't make me mad but they are so uncomfortable and the shoelaces are so flimsy that I had to order a pair of round shoelaces. The insoles are also very uncomfortable. Fortunately I had a pair of 3/4 superfeet insoles lying around from Zappos that made them more comfortable. They're called the Sheridan boots in a suede type of texture.

I've gotten good wear out of them but don't wear them as often as I used to. They are still pretty stiff and sturdy but don't hurt my feet. It would say it's worth if you're looking for a shoe that holds up but if you're looking for them to soften I would check out their other designs!

I'm a size 5 & bought a size 5, my toes touch the end too but only when I'm walking! Did you decide to keep yours or size up? I can't decide what to do!

I ended up keeping mine and still love them! It's not so bad when I wear regular socks vs really thick ones. I think for myself personally they would be too big if I sized up since I have narrow feet. Unfortunately I haven't worn them out enough to see if they stretch but I've heard they do a bit. Good luck with whatever you end up deciding!

Im a size 5 too and I’ve been wanting these forever! I tried them on but with small socks and they felt big but I’m wondering with the right ones (thicker ones) they fit better/ would be worth it. I’m on the fence 😭

I was on the fence too but I'm so glad I decided to get them! With the right socks (tall thick socks) and tightening the laces they fit a lot better!

@@lorenaluna4233 Docs sizing are weird because no half sizes. I never size up because they look like clown shoes when you do (I'm a 6.5 and I buy a 6 in docs). They are always really tight when you first buy them but they eventually mold into like a perfect fit and the thick socks are good to help speed up that process. My Jadon's killed the first couple weeks of wear.

You'll want to wear thick socks when you first break them in! It'll help with preventing blisters 😊

Yeah they're pretty heavy and clunky. I don't think mine are broken in enough to walk that much unless I was wearing really thick and comfy socks. I wouldn't recommend wearing them if you have to walk a lot

Hi! I would say it depends on how much it's touching the front of your foot. I didn't notice it stretching too much for me over time so sizing up might help if it's too tight. But I did notice when I tried sizing up the shoes felt too big. Are you wearing thick or normal socks?

@@NessxStyle I put on horrible socks and I feel that when I walk it touches the top and the front part, and it's uncomfortable for me, but I feel that a size 9.0 is going to be too big, so I don't know what to do,

@Andy López I would size up if you feel that the 8 is uncomfortable. You can try the 9 and if those are too big I'd recommend trying some of the other doc marten styles! I find that their shoes have different sizing depending on the style so maybe you'll find one that fits you well!
