Just received ours yesterday, can't wait to try it out. Thank you Dr Mercola for embracing new ideas and thank you Dr. Liu for all of your work. Would combining it with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy be a good idea ? (Retired GP in England trying to help my wife who has Alzheimer's. We have reduced her HbA1c considerably and her Glucose to Ketone index on Monday was 2.47)

Thank you for your interest. This video is 5 years old. A lot has changed since then. Vielight has developed new models and new devices, as well as conducted numerous research studies. It doesn't seem to have made much difference to the hair on his head yet, but perhaps he might be exceeding the recommended dose !! My theory regarding Male pattern baldness, is that we now stand under a hot shower, which turns off the genes in the hair follicles, and the hair stops growing. Or maybe it is due to Global warming !!!

@@grahamedwards6824 this is interesting becoz in Thailand you rarely see bald man and they only ever use cold water on hair. I use hot water and my hair is going bald! Perhaps something in what you say.

Many devices use 850nm. How much better is 810nm?

It appears 810nm is a common laser wavelength and has been tested more than 850nm which is more common in LED. The 810nm is more of a publication bias, resulting from comparing red laser (commonly 630) vs infrared (commonly 810) rather than across a range i.e. 810 vs 820 vs 830, so the difference is likely small and it could well be better.
