Only started watching because: "Is that a harmonica in his hands - is he ACTUALLY going to start a show with harmonica?!?" I've read enough and watched enough on depression for three lifetimes - no chance I was going to watch this. But by connecting to the Suzuki Fire Breath harmonica on my desk . . . that made me watch! And with the unbelievable amount of loss and grief I'm dealing with, alone, it was very much what I needed. Thank you.

There are a lot of physical illnesses that cause depression. I've had high blood pressure and infections on and off all my life and that alone has made me depressed. In turn it has made it hard for me to function properly in the a social arena. I was also hyper from the time I was a baby which also contributed to this. Some of the medicines for ease of my physical issues counteract the vitamins you have mentioned. I have weened off of those medicines and are now taking supplements which have eased my chronic depression. I'm not completely cured of these things that plague mankind but I don't have all those side affects anymore from taking all those medicines and I feel the best I've felt in a very long time. I'm almost 69 and God is bringing me thru all this with flying colors. Thank you Jesus!

Needed to hear about the stationary bicycle...I have arthritis in my feet too. Love the fact that you shared about body parts failing! There is always something we can do and us older adults need the encouragement to keep working on the physical as well as the spiritual! Amen!
