Dr Neubauer Tarantula 1.8mm

It turns out the official Neubauer website got the rubber information wrong. 1.8mm is the thickness that produces the best spin reversal not 1.2mm. This might also applies to all the plus version anti rubbers( bison+, buffalo+ and rhino+) since they all have very similar top sheets. Now back to Tarantula, even though 1.8mm has much better spin reversal, it won’t be easy to keep the ball low compare to ABS2 or Reflection. However, Tarantula is a very helpful tool to attack against backspin. So the best way to use this rubber to the full limit, is to combine aggressive and passive tactics all together. Purely rely on passive blocks might still work well in medium level games, but it definitely won’t be the best strategy in high level games.

Alfons Zebua I played Donic Defplay once before. It should work fine with your ABS2.
