Perceval Everett ( born in 1956) he is an American writer and distinguished professor of English at university of Southern California.his notable works erasure, iam not Sidney ,trees . He won several awards such as creative capital award ,finalist for Pulitzer Prize for fiction for telephone, 2022 shortlisted for booker prize for the trees , every man wood house prize for comic fiction for the trees. Iam so sorry to be little long but reading and writing both are great ways to improve our English language as none native speakers. Good luck to you your dearest ones .

We celebrate mother day in Arabic countries as well as England, it’s different date around world you in USA and Canada on May we on March. We as foreigners subscribers as overseas students want to increase our cultural level improve our English language as well literature lovers too. I gathered main theme of book you mentioned and author biography briefly here it’s dr no plot summary self made billionaire named John sill hires professor kitu to aid in his quixotic ambition to turn himself into Bond villain . You know evil for evil sake .billonaire explains in coffee shop shorty before sliding 3 milion dollar check table . Like every villain. Sill has origin story .

It’s going to suffer in comparison to The Trees, but most authors’ next book would do that as well. There are plenty of jokes and Easter eggs in this one. I hope you and your family are well, Brian. Best, Jack

@@ramblingraconteur1616 A friend of mine sent me a recent "New Yorker" article about Everett, which gets into all this bologna about his supposed "amnesia" about how he writes his books, which made me raise my eyebrows, as it's absurd. So I have listened to a bunch of interviews with Percival, and I'm now reading Dr. No. I suspect he suffers from the so-called imposter syndrome, and for very good reason.
