Legend… but damn time’s were different and sickening back then for a full grown adult to marry a child. That ain’t right !

​@@Howard007, Down South a Person could marry at a young age. Many People were Very Poor & they got married. The young girls were more grown up in many ways compared to other's who were not from those backgrounds of the south. You had to get Parents Permission , However , Jerry Lee Lewis didn't get any Permission , although Myra was his second cousin ( once removed ) her Parents weren't exactly happy about the marriage. ---- anyway , Jerry Lee Lewis & Myra loved each other & went ahead & got married. It lasted 13 years. --- they always remained Very good friends.
