The fact that Fetterman showed up, knowing he was not going to be able to verbalize well and he was going up against a trained public speaker and professional snake oil salesman, is kudos on him. It proves he will do the hard stuff, regardless of what it may make him look like. Fetterman has a public service record that everyone could see. I go on the person's previous actions. Not a debate. And John Fetterman has served the public. Oz serves himself.

All legislation should be decided at the lowest level possible. Ideally, decisions are made by the individual. There are few instances I want the federal government involved and fewer yet a world government. If the legislation was at a state or country level and you don’t enjoy tyranny, you can move to another place which suits you. If you love tyranny and want to impose your will on others, more federal laws is exactly what you would want. I am afraid of people like you.

I stopped going to arcades when they went from a quarter to $.50 overnight, a 100% increase in price. When I asked the kid who gave out change why they didn't just raise the price by a dime he said, "then I'd have to keep track of both quarters and dimes." By the way I know that they did it the way they did because all they had to do was flip a switch to require 2 coins instead of one, but the kid's answer was still funny.

According to your dad, sitting on a couch and zoning out on other people playing a game while stuffing your face with some sort of snack food and beer is less of a waste of time than being engaged in activities that require focus, concentration, problem and puzzle solving, improves hand-eye coordination, and sometimes requires learning how to work with others as a team to achieve a common goal? 🤔 No disrespect but it seems to me your dad has it exactly backwards my dude. ✌️

It was the spoken language, that took time. And my brain worked just fine, I just had problems getting a sentence put together to properly voice my opinion. It was incredibly frustrating. And I didnt have to go through it during an election campaign against a meanspirited, bad faith liar with a media too busy whipping up their latest clickbait sensation and "asking questions" to actually care about facts. My math teachers were convinced I was cheating because I would have the right answer but none of my work was right. After they realized I wasn’t cheating they turned around like “I can’t accept these answers if none of the work is right.” In all honesty it was because it was a problem I remembered from homework with like one number different and I would put down a logical guess. I was terrible at remembering math formulas.

Some teachers are weird when it comes to cheating. My 10th grade geometry teacher was convinced I had cheated on the final exam because I got a B+ after failing the class all year. When I explained that my study hall teacher (another math teacher) was helping me through my discalcula (dislexia with numbers) and teaching me other ways of solving the problems, he didn’t believe me and had me retake it while he watched.

I had trouble with the "work" because each step I wrote down, had at least 2 changes, usually more. I struggled to make those steps! Teachers wanted a labourius list of steps and half steps. My brain just "saw" the condenced problem and I answered it. My sons had same problem/condition. Oldest of them went in after class once and took a completely different test to prove that he," just knew it." Next year his brother had same teacher ! Poor obsessed with "steps" woman ! !

My senior year of HS I took geometry, when my friend and I walked into the class on the first day and I saw all the football players in there I said to my buddy, "oh no, we're in the dumb dumb math class." We didn't have to memorize any of the definitions of the formulas and every friday the teacher would hand out the tests, tell us we had 30 minutes then leave the class and lock us in. For the 1st month she moved one of the football players around from desk to desk and when a girl asked why she kept moving him the teacher told her it was because he talked too much. The boy was quiet. He finally got moved behind me and when the teacher left the class that friday a big paw grabbed my shoulder and pushed me to the side and I went "oh, i get it." After football season was over he was allowed to sit wherever he wanted. I guess he got a B like me up to that point.
