PBS was a celebrated singer of South India. He had sung for Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada movies. His style of singing for Rajkumar was excellent His melodious voice highly suited to Rajkumar. All the songs were hit and he established himself as a super singer in Kannada movies. But after 1974 his opportunities were diminishing and when Rajkumar started singing. Though PBS was a popular singer he was neglected by the Kannada film world and for more than two decades, he was forgotten by all. It is really painful to note that such an excellent singer who mesmerised millions of music lovers was washed out from the industry.
