Women: don't listen to the gaslighters who tell you it's your fault, that you're supposed to be submissive to your abusive husband. We all know it doesn't matter how you act towards an abuser, they will always find fault and a reason to take their anger issues out on you. They will always find insubordination in your words and they will never see or treat you like an equal human being. They will never give you the same benefit of the doubt and respect you give them unless they truly reflect and do some serious inner work on their own trauma, hurt, and anger. Especially if you have kids, don't keep yourself in something that is destroying you.
