This episode was directed by Gwen Arner. I personally believe that she was one of or the best directors on the series. When you saw her work, you see the romance and passion brought out of the characters Micheala and Sully. I think that she knew of the personal history of Jane and Joe and she allowed them to express it through their characters. She even directed her husband Donald Moffet in the episode portraying Walt Whitman.

It’s great that wedding episode actually came off so beautifully because in the commentary that Jane andJoe did of this episode Jane recalled that Joe came to the set where the wedding was shot late. Joe asked Jane if it were true that legend said that the two of them had a disagreement that morning. She said yes and was it that you didn’t want to marry me. His reply was that he did but he explained why he was upset. He then said that he knew she was stressed because the episode was very important. She then said that she enjoyed the kiss after they took their vowels. She then said that she was happy that they no longer bickered meaning when the commentary was done in 2007.He said that while they were watching the Honeymoon bed scene he was getting nervous watching it. She agreed. She also said when they were bickering during the course of the series, when they had a scene kissing it made everything better. These two did and do love each other period. While watching the scene from For Better or Worse,I will comment on something that others won’t agree with me,which is fine😃.We all have physical flaws that detracts from our appearance. When Micheala runs to and speaks to Sully after he returns because he missed the rehearsal dinner, it is quite noticeable that Jane had some dental work done. In my opinion, she should have sued the dentist that did the work and had someone give him a beat down and loss of his medical license. Years later you can see that another dentist had alleviated the problem. I only mentioned this because it is noticeable. I have read comments where some had said her mouth was ugly. It wasn’t her mouth instead a terrible dental job. I’m just saying..😀

Although Jane is an excellent actress , I wonder what was going through her mind during the making of this episode since James had already moved into her home at this time. Joe was obviously filled with authentic lust and love. How did she process that scene because she portrayed the same feelings as Joe? People have said that they have seen her whispering I love you into his neck. I have watched this scene many,many times and I have yet seen that moment.😄I’m speaking about the honey/berry scene. I put this comment on the wrong video.☺️

@@lenehegh2951 Hi Lene,I’m back because I’ve noticed a couple of new things😁.First, Sully/Joe appeared to be stunned at how beautiful Jane/ Micheala looked as she walked down the aisle and the fact that her mother decided to walk her down the aisle. Second, when Sully raised her veil after taking their vows, she had begun to cry and she stopped herself from crying🤔😄.Look very closely as they are waving as the train pulls away,where is Sully’s left hand most of the time😊? In the honey/berry scene she is crying. Was she happy she had been rescued or did she not know how to react during this scene🤔☺️?
