I have never seen a Musician so educated scientifically, and socially aware. He almost talks like a philosopher yet humourous as a children book writer.

Very few Indians are readers. In the Indian psyche we have books associated with an 'in order to get something' a utilitarian value. Hence there is little love for knowledge, little curiosity and wonder except if it about things like making fast money, discounts, free stuff. Just look at the trash that is published. The good stuff is seldom read even if people buy it and browse to bring about in their social circles. Indian Education has ruined learning.

One of the most fascinating & insightful talk I have heard in my lifetime. Thank you Rahul, you amazed me with your views outside your musical genius, of which I am a long time great fan. I think every Parent and young minds needs to hear what you spoke & this video needs to spread. It is very difficult in today's short attention span to expect public to watch and hear a one hour+ talk show but I think it is essential.

Well said sir, I have a question, hope you'll put your straight opinion. As you said automobile is the cause of pollution. As per my thinking there is only 3 ways to get rid of the pollution faced by automobile: i) Minimisation of pollution by controlling the amount of vehicle (Incomplete solution) ii) Development of pollution-free automobile. May be electric/renewable/any. (Hope based solution) iii) Going back to the Horse Age. (Looking impractical) Or any other way?

I think, building efficient and adequate public transport for people to move from their residence to workplace, and investing in electric-powered cars (It somewhat started) are the two major ways to curb the pollution caused by automobile. But we have to remember that a very significant contributor to air pollution is done by the heavy industries which are usually driven by the top 1% of the country. They violate laws that were legislated keeping the environment in mind. But they get away with it by either lying to the court and/or by sheer financial power. We can only hope that people become aware enough to protest these practices.
