To anyone who thinks Ratio actually betrayed Aventurine here, Aven's final dialogue with Acheron after the final fight shows that that wasn't the case, and that what actually happened was either: 1. Ratio and Aventurine put on that whole sequence as an act to make Sunday believe he had the aventurine cornerstone, when in fact what Sunday seized was the jade cornerstone. 2. Ratio actually did betray Aventurine, but Aventurine was banking on that to happen to make his plan work (and knowing Ratio, he probably figured out Aven needed him to betray him. After all, if he really didn't desire to work with Aventurine anymore, why would he give him the doctor's advice?). Edit: Also, why would Ratio rat Aventurine out for information about a Stellaron? The man has 8 doctorates, the funding of the IPC, and is acquaintances with someone who has a Stellaron in their body. He is perfectly capable of studying Stellarons himself if he wants to.

Y’all saw one scene and immediately judge. They were obviously acting. Ratio betraying him was one of the possible branches for this 4d chess. They clearly have an amazing relationship for ratio to even understand what aventurine’s plan is. Ratio cares for aventurine but you can’t tell bc of the EN translations

Some peeps need to pay more attention to how Dr. Ratio purposely chose to put down the Jade cornerstone in front of Sunday in order to misled him into believing that was the Aventurine stone. And being a certified genius, it's highly improbable for him to mistake the two cornerstones.

If you don't have time to do the main quest, I have a hint for you all: Rewatch 2.1's PV and look closely at Aventurine's Cornerstone, then come back and compare it with the one in this cutscene.

​@@yumirui_1130 You're forgetting that he's originally from the Intelligentia Guild, which is notorious for putting a price on knowledge, and that price will be anything as long as the information is valuable for them. And since there have been no drops of the origin of Stellaron all throughout the story, which means the information about it is still limited, and varies for each faction. However, the main tipping point was when he realized he was also tricked by Aventurine's schemes. So yeah, this whole planet is just a dreamland full of trust issues.
