FULL of angst, miscommunication, drama, anger, tenderness, conflict, confusion and WOW it was brilliant! Welcome to the part where Luke calls Noah on his crap....looks like Dr O's words resonated.
First of all.... LUKE SNYDER I LOVE YOU. You are your old self again. You grew a pair. THANK GOD. Noah got a BITCH SLAP of realisation today!!!!
Noah, sweetheart, you're really not doing yourself ANY favours. Why haven't you told Luke the accident wasn't his fault? I get you were confused but EVERYTHING Luke said was BANG ON.
I was in a state of SHOCK watching it. NEVER thought this would happen. When Luke was talking about being there and feeling abandoned and alone. Hugs for Luke :(
Noah Noah Noah, you can't just pick it up like before. You need to do a HELLLL of a lot more.
SCRUBS SCRUB SCRUBS.... we're being spoiled with them recently. In comes Dr O in full angry, unimpressed and sarky mood. OH HOW I LOVE YOU. I adore him when he's like this ;) Ooooo if looks could kill, Luke would have reverted Dr O to dust!!!!
Thank GOD they still remember Casey and Ali were friends with Luke and Noah. So happy to see them. HAHAHAHA Dr O banned Luke. I giggled.
HAHAHA. Noah you are clueless. Dr O you are an ass. I love you being an ass and it's a good job :P Luke was HURT. Wow, talk about jealousy... hahaha! He's seething and his hurt's turned to anger. BAD BAD BAD timing to snap at Noah. Don't pretend like you used Luke for his money and don't use deflection, it does NOT suit your pretty face. By all means SNAP and SHOUT and be SEXY (*ahem*) I mean ANGRY Dr Oliver but don't say things like that when it's blatently NOT true. Poor Luke :( Even NOAH picked up on Luke being upset and THAT'S saying something ;) ha! Luke looked like he wanted to cry. sob
Luke IS far too nice and FAR too understanding. He's so lovely and in a way it's annoying because he does himself NO favours sometimes!
Dr O "party pooper" was just hilarious. Wow he certainly know how to clear a room and assert his power *swoon*! ;)
Felt so awful for him as it did seem like he was the miserable ogre coming to ruin everyone's fun and he was just doing his job (AND also being intensely jealous but I don't think he'd have done anything CLOSE that if Noah and Luke hadn't have been a bit exciteable and impulsive).
Noah ... you MAY want to try NOT to answer the Dr back to just gave you your sight back, we know you don't want to be alone and you want company but he'll bury you in the ground so there REALLY is no point in trying!!!! haha :P
He's just closing off .... you can SEE it happening. It's awful to see as we KNOW he can be so amazingly lovely. It's part of the fun though, right??? He has no idea what he's doing really...he is hurting and in TRUE Dr O style, out comes the snark and the rudeness. He needs to say "oh golly" more.....it's so perfectly snarky.
Noah's "oh my god i love you" look when Luke left the room was beautiful. Shame he didn't realise that months ago. Sheesh.
"Why are you treating me like this?" ..... where do we start?
Next section is just even BETTER. Again, writers, we salute you ;)

This show is getting better and better! Now we need to get someone for Noah, because Luke and Reid are great together. We even have Luke being honest to Noah, admitting their relationship hasn't worked for a while, which they haven't talked about for a while, but still behaving like friends, which is what they are. Their relationship works so much better when they are not a couple, but best friends.

oh Dr O we love you so much but honey you might not have experience it before but what you are feeling is called jealousy. Luke good going with not taking any crap from both Reid and Noah. This comment is also for part 2 but who did not love the look on Luke's face when Dr. O walked away. It was like hell no we are going to have this out. My heart just about melted when Luke asked Reid "Why are you treating me this way". That was just so sweet. Luke you are growing up.

Noah's line "When I couldn't see I felt cut off... but now I feel a part of the world again, and connected, to you"... tells me his connection to Luke was purely carnal since his "connection" seems to be purely made through one sense... a true spiritual/emotional connection to a partner should go beyond the senses and still remain even if physical factors (like eyesight, looks, etc.) change... makes me think his connection to Luke was never real or mature.

Jealousy also shows off the intensity of his emotions, his character but most importantly, his vulnerability. He isn't as tough as he wants others to think he is. This is what this character fascinating in my opinion. Objectively speaking, he isn't necessarily the most attractive man out there but it's his overall persona and charm that makes him captivating to watch.

Reid's JEALOUS angry look struck me badly too...In a good way (OF COURSE!! ;-P) It's wonderful to see how these 2 can interact with their inner emotions..With Noah's on his feet again, it's even more fun to imagine how Lure will sneak around hoy & heavy for the next bunch of eps.... ;-P) Thanks & ciao*

The writers are doing such a good job with this story. Noah is a great guy, but he doesn't seem to be ready to share his life with someone. Luke deserves more in a relationship. They should remain friends, but the future is LuRe.

@melhock the hurt on Luke's face when Reid says he is Noah's boyfriend, he couldn't say anything as he was mid way through telling Noah there was no way back for them when Reid interrupted them two more minutes and Luke could have said something back. Luke is trying to be friendly and caring as he is the only one there for Noah and feels he needs to stick by him but everything is coming across to Reid as if they are back together as a couple.

"golly i must have missed that course in medical school" -- I can't decide which Reid I love more -- angry, mean Reid privately swooning after Luke, or funny, flirtatious Reid making progress with Luke... obviously I prefer the latter in terms of story arc but DAMN do i love when he's mean!!!

@1curious8 oh i forgot to add...how adorable was luke's expression when he asked reid why he's treating him like this...so vulnerable...begging for some love and affection! again it was so adorable it hurt!!!! Van Hansis i adore you to bits...so gald to finally see luke the "individual" and not luke the "luke and noah"!!!!

@melhock I see greater emotions on Reid's face when they were on rooftop and Reid referred to Luke as Noah's boyfriend. That posture was clearly defensive on the part of Reid. He couldn't stand the thought that maybe, just maybe, Luke is going back with Noah, therefore, Reid immediately raised his protective cocoon in a desperate attempt to hide his vulnerability. I think there is a soft side of Reid that we haven't seen yet.

@mariavelordi No he said that because he is hurting and can't tell Noah what is going on between him and Luke. Reid is pulling up his walls which Luke broke down and trying to push Luke away as he can't stand seeing Luke with Noah that is why he is saying he wants to go back to Luke being banned from seeing Noah and not wanting him in the hospital. Basically if I can't have Luke then Noah can't either when in fact Luke wants to be there for Noah as a support system but wants to be WITH Reid.

I wish Reid had been a fly on the wall when Nuke were talking on the roof, he would have been so proud of Luke and would have seen that Luke didn't want to be with Noah and had very good reasons and one being he has fallen for Reid. He doesn't want to be a doormat and if Noah says one more time I don't know how to act being a couple as he hasn't had experience no excuse just selfish and been with Noah long enough now that it isn't a new situation just an excuse that just rolls of the tongue.

@oreo9870 I guess the point is, Dr. Reid isn't perfect. To show his jealousy, consequently his flaws, is to make his character more human. Otherwise, he will be worshiped as a perfect or god.

@philippeou I totally agree jealousy is one emotion which is spontaneous and reveals all and Luke knows Reid now and stands up to him calling him a liar. He knows Reid hides his emotions and pushes people away. Luke has stood up to Reid more in their short time than ever with Noah, for one he knows Reid won't run. I do think if Reid knew more of background to Luke he would understand the Nuke relationship and why they have such a close bond and the need to support him.

@melhock Also, it's worth pointing out which doctor would follow his patient to the rooftop of the hospital? When a doctor finds his patient is missing, he will most likely alert other hospital staff and have them look for his patient, not going after that person himself. Obviously, there was something more than just concern for Noah's health - there is this something else in the back of his mind that worries him a great deal...

I have mixed feelings about this episode....On one hand thank god Luke grew a pair! He's finally tired of being treated like a doormat. On the other I was not thrilled with the good Dr's behavior. Here he is a world famous doctor and he is acting like someone took his legos. I just think there could a better way to portray his jealousy. Still I am a LuRE fan all the way. And I am really encouraged about some spoilers I have read. We should have some exciting LuRe coming up.

@melhock The misunderstandings continue between LuRe when Luke says we are not together just trying work things out, it sounds like Nuke are back together which is not what Luke means his trying to define what Nuke relationship is now which is friends who care allot about each other hopefully with the help of their friends who Noah turned to when he pushed Luke away will help the LuRe situation. Noah needs to learn and understand there are consequences to his actions and Luke has moved on.

@happyinchintz72 You are just wonderful. I love to read your overview of each episode. Luke and Reid need to go somewhere quiet and just let everthing out. They are obviously in love with each other, but they somehow keep getting their signals crossed. I was so proud of Luke today. He finally put Noah in his place. Reid is so jealous and I am really enjoying the back and forth with him and Luke.lol

I love this story but in true soap fashion they have Noah looking a little too healthy for just having had brain surgery. I just go into my soap world and then the story works better for me. Why now just months before the show is to end do they bring the talented Eric on. They should have had this type of story a long time ago. I loved the Luke comming out story and when Noah came out to his dad. This is by far the best story for Nuke since then. Thanks for making me see that Ruke might work.
