Honestly I would suggest giving this another shot, but with one really important change to your strategy: If you're about to connect four of the same color, DON'T do it immediately - instead, put another color in the middle of it, and then connect four of THAT color. Those will clear, and then the first color will clear, so you have a chain reaction - and that's how you send garbage to your opponent's screen. Once you know how to do that, you can make 3-chains, 4-chains, and so on ... and in DRMBM in particular, if you can manage to make a 5-chain, your opponent is pretty much toast. But the longer you make your chain, the more chance your opponent has to send garbage your way and ruin it. So it becomes a balancing act. See if that helps! 🙂
