Thankyou for this video, it's encouraging to hear of all the research that's being done to further understanding of this debilitating illness. And thank you also for your book on ME/ CFS, which I purchased earlier this year. It's been very helpful. I am a retired nurse with the illness, and liked the medical explanations of what is happening in my body, and the discussion on managing symptoms. Hopefully soon, better treatments will be available.

Monica Starr I'm so sorry you are feeling so sick right now, do seek help from your Doctor, family snd friends for where you are right now on this journey. We all need support, especiallly during our weakest times. I hope and pray that you will find something that will help with the brain fog, and that better, clearer days are ahead.

The amount of studies on CFS is almost doubling each year, with millions affected by it worldwide, not only is there money to be made there, there is also allot more we can learn on how to test and treat it.

Though it is encouraging that conferences are happening on CFS/ME, this one sounds like an angle seeking big pharma's involvement, and they tend not to address cures (not as much profit in cures). As a 30 year survivor of CFS, mitochondria/ATP malfunctions make the most sense to me (so far). One of the only doctors I have found that addresses this is Dr. Myhill in the UK. Because her work has been successful and seeks wellness by addressing the source, the General Medical Council attempted to take away her license to practice medicine (they did not succeed).
