Farabi and Ibn Sina were geniuses in many fields for sure. But when it came to religion and to a an aspect philosophy they had some major pitfalls. Al Ghazali and Ibn Tayminyyah perfectly refute them on these points. Also big bang can be inferred from the Quran verse. While it's good to realise the contributions of likes of Farabi and Ibn Sina to medicine, astronomy, etc it's important to realise their major weaknesses in understanding the religion

Yep. But he was a sufi of a different kind. A sufi that uses logic plus strict adherence to the prophet's sunnah. He opposed sufism that relied too much on greek philosophy (human oneness with God, theology, etc) or Persian philosophy (shi'ah, etc).

All religions are not doorway to heaven, Quran is the book of GOD and it says that no other religion will be accepted from anyone but Islam. Secondly, The question Al Farabi asked was a time sensitive question, Nowadays muslims population is spiking up and is expected to become largest religion by population in 50-70 years. Last but not the least, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism etc may be the religions GOD revealed but the message got consistently changed by humans so GOD consistently kept sending messengers and ended the line up at Prophet Muhammad giving him an unchangeable book.

That's absolutely false, Christians and Jews will not go to heaven if they die on their religion. Only the true followers of Moses and Jesus peace be upon them, who were actually Muslim, not the Jews and Christian of today who corrupted Islam, because those messengers were originally Muslim, not Jewish or Christian. As Muslims, we believe that Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Jacob, Isaac, Abraham, Noah, Adam and all the prophets and messengers of Allah (God) were Muslim (submitters) upon the religion of Islam (submission). People who lived at a time and/or a place where they could not receive the message of Allah are called by Muslim scholars "ahl al-fatrah". Those people will be tested on judgment day just as the people who received a messenger in this world were tested. If they succeed in their test, they'll go to paradise, if they fail, they'll go to hell fire. As for kids who haven't reached the age of maturity, or crazy people who cannot comprehend any message are automatically admitted into paradise. Today in this era of globalization, everybody knows about Islam and everybody can access information about Islam very easily, unless they live in some remote village in Africa, or like the Amazon, where there's no internet and no Muslims who can reach them to deliver the message, they'll be considered as ahl al-fatrah.

It's not their idea, the theory of big bang was learned by them in the Qur'an when Allah swt commanded to the universe of emptiness to come willingly or unwillingly. Thus a universal mass was created. Then in another surah said " Don't men of understanding see the world is one until we cleft them asunder? ".

The spiritual danger of relying on your own intellectual skills without raw information and then making claims about religion. May Allah forgive him. Even based on the Quran alone, Farabi should have been able to answer his question. We know that Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) and his progeny are the only ones that survive the flood and repopulate the earth, and we know the descendants of the Prophets (peace be upon them) are not wholly immune to falling into transgression. It is not inconceivable to imagine that whole nations sprung from disbelieving descendants of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him). We also know there were many Prophets sent to humanity and that the people disbelieved and/or deviated from the original teachings. It is not unsurprising to find some kernels of wisdom in other religions, but only Islam is holistically correct. And Allah knows best.
