A real believer in Jesus Christ is an infantry man/woman in active training. Your life on this earth is a test to make a believer ready to deal with evil, stand against evil, resist against evil & most of all be ready to use offensive tactics against evil. A true believer is about realising that fighting has its purpose. That purpose is to spread the good news of salvation. To become a coward is in actual fact dangerous and promotes evil.

Great message! There are a few men in the military that I'm in absolute awe of their bravery. And it should give us an example of how to fight, fight, fight! One of those heroes to me was Master Sargeant John Chapman USAF in the battle at Takur Ghar Mountain, Afghanistan. There is predator drone footage of the fight. And it would come to be the first ever congressional medal of honor to be recorded. He saved the lives of his team and the QRF. He fought in 3 feet of snow on a mountain. Chapman engaged the enemy on the mountain and in a bunker. He was shot countless times. And engaged at the end in hand to hand combat (while mortally wounded). He gave his life for his team (John 15:13 KJV), and this hero should never be forgotten 🫡. I pray he was saved. There's a book about this called "Alone At Dawn." That's one example of someone we should strive to be like as soldiers and warriors for the Lord Jesus Christ 🙏

Reading that, I can say his courage came from Holy Spirit. He was destined to do anything because his courage was sacrificial in source & nature. He realised that the only way to defend, defeat and overcome the enemy, is to fight.

@clevelandwilliams5922 I believe the same brother. His actions on the mountain that day were super human. And it came from such a sacrificial source, I too believe that was the Holy Spirit. Every time I watch the drone footage, I tear up because it was so beautiful 🥺. It took a shot through the heart to finally take him out. I read that at the end, he smashed his radio and continued to make his final stand to fight the enemy and sacrifice himself for his brothers. The definition of a hero and a legend.

@@ashleydeshields887 off course the standard of valour and courage. My mentor is of the same ilk. His name is Cleveland “The Big Cat” Williams. He overcame death over three operations to then lose a Kidney, 3/4 small intestines & then 60 lbs body weight. Even after all those physical set backs he regained his conditioning to fight for the World Heavyweight Championship on Nov 14 1966, against Muhammad Ali. The incident happened on November 28 1964. So 2 years had passed since the incident to his title fight. He withstood barrage, knocked down 4 times and lost the fight standing. To me he is my standard of a hero. But I have to bow my hat in solemn praise & respect to this man on the battlefield. God will use this man in his army when he comes to earth to defeat the antichrist.

At the 2nd advent there are two armies, the Old Testament saints are mounted on white donkeys and New Testament saints on white horses with Jesus Christ at the head. I think each Apostle and Prophet will have a division and in each Brigades. Martin Luther, John Bunyan, Dwight Moody, Billy Sunday and the like at the head of them. I want to be in the Ruckman Brigade.

Which one? The Amillenialists' and Post-millenialists' "Israel" (which they say is one and the same as the church), or today's Israel that is "As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes." Romans 11:28. You are to love the physical Israel even though they are the most depraved, Christ-rejecting, God-hating, fornicating, repulsive people. The entire world is as wicked as they are. You are as wicked as they are. They need Christ's atonement as much as you do. On the first "Israel", Ruckman has preached and written much against those groups.
