Walekumassalam.... He use remote things ?? Can u explain this line again ???
@exploringliterature2510
@exploringliterature2510 2 жыл бұрын
I m sorry for the late reply He uses remote things means that Dr. Johnson’s analysis of Shakespeare is very judicious. It analyses both the merits and demerits of Shakespeare’s plays, Dr. Johnson praises Shakespeare for his faithful depiction of human nature. He found that Shakespeare made nature predominate over accident, that he depicted the influence of the general passions, and that he successfully presented life in its native colours. Shakespeare offers characters who think, speak and act as normal human beings in like situations. The dialogue is level with life because he “approximates the remote and familiarises the wonderful.” The language of the characters is natural and as such truthful.

Sacrifice virtue to convenience What does this statement mean ?
@exploringliterature2510
@exploringliterature2510 3 жыл бұрын
According to Dr. Samuel sacrife virtue to convenience means that Shakespeare write without any moral purpose....He did not distribute good and evil justly and even his virtuous characters do not express any moral disapproval of the wicked

Did Shakespeare practice Poetic Justice ? In his plays
@exploringliterature2510
@exploringliterature2510 3 жыл бұрын
By poetic justice means that vituous should be rewarded and evil doer will be punished. As such there is no poetic justice in Shakespeare's tragedy. Shakespeare was a realist and therefore poetic justic in it's pure form is not present in his plays.

How Shakespeare is the master of language when he uses pompous kind of language that doesn't seem natural?
@exploringliterature2510
@exploringliterature2510 2 жыл бұрын
Delight and diversity in his language leads him towards the master of language. According to Johnson Shakespeare has visualised the facts in language so he mingle comic elements in the drama as a source of delight and diversity which is relevant even in our life. Shakespeare used his subject matter in blending the comic elements in his language which no other critic or author did before so even though, he uses pompous kind of language that is not natural but he uses subject matter with the visualise effects that it's looks unique which reveals that he is a master of language
