In India, here rice is boiled in water and once cooked that water is thrown away. So, those unfortunate people were begging for rice water telling if there is no rice then give us the rice water to drink.

Sai Deepak If you have time, do read these books to understand colonialism in depth. Anglo-Saxons don't even know 0.001% about colonialism, because their education system makes sure to hide this dirty part of their history. Anglo-Saxons today have everything because they looted it all from their colonies, and they aren't even sorry about that. Then there's British Museum, oh well, let's not go down the rabbit hole 😅

Thank you so much for the recommendations! I appreciate it! I did learn a fair amount about colonialism in school - the states also has that in the history. But I will take a look! I love reading in my spare time. And the British museum is horrible. The fact that the modern leadership refuses to return artifacts is shameful.
