到場解釋的國稅局台東分局卻表示，依所得稅法規定，僱請經常性人力的漁船主，必須主動為漁工申報扣繳所得稅，這份公文也僅通知縣內，5噸以上的漁船主共267位，其他上千位一般自力捕魚的，小型膠筏漁船主都不在範圍內，漁船主為漁工申報扣繳所得，並不代表漁民需繳稅。 (漁民不繳稅 漁港為何不讓大家用？漁港又不是漁民建設的 是我繳稅的)
