Bastion Balthazar thank hou so much for such a great long reply.I was not expecting that.I stopped keto after 5 weeks being in ketosis with really low GKI( 1.0-2.5 most of the times).I started carbs again,mostly fruits and heart issue eased like 90%.Its only 4th day I stopped keto.I am thinking to have second approach to keto soon,with way more of fiber and will gonna watch my heart.I ready high potasium citrate and himalayan salt works well when on keto.I hope this time will work coz I was only 5 weeks on keto,but my measured ketones were always on very good range 1.5-5.0.I had as well some kidney pain but started taking herbal ayurvedic pills for kidney stones and pain dissapear.I hope this time will work for me.😂😛😛

Uh, I'm pretty sure eating bacon is not good no matter how you cut it. This is why Atkins had problems back in the day, because people were getting heart disease. I remember one woman who said she traded heart disease for weight loss. Eggs are fine though.
@jeff7279
@jeff7279 3 жыл бұрын
@@2hot2handle65 I don't agree with the bacon comment. In fact, what most don't realize is that the majority of people have artery plaque already. Unless you just happened to grow up not eating the standard N.A. diet. Otherwise you've been woofing down pounds of sugar, gallons of hfcs, as well as gmo seed oils for decades. And have had inflammation throughout your body since you were a baby.

Bacon is also high in sodium, which is definitely bad for you. Anyway, I'm not going to argue this because when I was in college I actually went three weeks where I ate nothing but steak, butter, and bacon. I stopped when I started having chest pains in the morning. And I was 19 at the time in perfect health according to my annual.

Complications such as heart arrhythmias, cardiac contractile function impairment, sudden death, osteoporosis, kidney damage, increased cancer risk, impairment of physical activity and lipid abnormalities can all be linked to long-term restriction of carbohydrates in the diet. The need to further explore and communicate the untoward side-effects of low-carbohydrate diets should be an important public health message from nutrition professionals.

Yeah keto doesn’t cause insulin resistance. If anything, like longer term fasting, longer term decreased insulin levels pummeling muscles and autophagy allows for cellular repair. The opposite of what you are saying.

@Katelyn Estes You may be a LDL hyper responder. A small percentage of keto people get very high LDl on keto. It is not an issue. The issue is high sugar and insulin resistance. Seek out Dave Feldman on YT. He is a hyper responder and has done exhaustive research on this. He also has a protocol to reduce LDL long enough to take the lipid blood panel and satisfy your primary care doctor. Whatever you do, don't discontinue keto. Your doctor is uninformed. Perhaps seek out a knowledgeable keto doctor who understands ldl and the hyper responder phenomenon.

Oh wow you are ridiculous. When people say that same thing about carbs, you'd say it builds up in the blood. No. Sugar only builds up if there's a lot of fat building up. Your way would only work if you were careful to eat only what you're burning. That's a low-energy life.
