I saw this show in Pittsburgh, and ended up running into him as he was running in the door! He was in character and yelled at me that I was going to be late to class. I'm not a fan of Tim and Eric, but the show they put on was actually pretty awesome, a lot of crowd participation.

While it's likely you're being ironic for humorous purposes, your statement brings to mind my daughter recently mentioning the current trend of people commenting in-person and online in reference to their non-existent autism and I was, like, "Yeah, I noticed." My academic background being in psychology and my professional experience including working closely w/clients diagnosed as being somewhere on the spectrum, I can attest to the strong likelihood that a significant segment of the "my autism" population do not struggle w/ASD-related symptoms. My daughter and I shared theories concerning why so many play the autism card despite zero socialization/communication and other difficulties associated with an ASD diagnosis and concluded that it's sometimes an attention-getting device, sometimes meant to emphasize the affect of movie, sketch, story, song or whatever, and sometimes both. Thoughts?

Reilly's Dr. Brule is 100% dope & demonstrates a stellar range i.e. this is the guy who dropped mad science in Hard Eight (1996), Magnolia (1999) & so on plus many comedy gems like Stepbrothers (2008) etc. But the ample improvisation here represents a singular savant-level mastery making Reilly a comedy-Grod. Thank you for recording this. I'm literally laughing my ass off. I see a comment noting that it's odd to see a classically trained actor do this. Creating a complex character and making people laugh their asses off in my opinion is the height of acting. When Hank's turned from comedic acting to dramatic acting that was a downgrade because many actors can do dramatic acting but only Hanks can do Hanks comedy. Anyways, anyone can be a jackass but that doesn't mean you can't create an amazing character from jackassery. In fact if you're good enough mimicking a jackass for artistic reasons is just plain awesome. It's basically the reason for the success of It's Always Sunny.
